Be a woman for a day and clothe yourself; in silver, for daisy chains part then steal yourself to a dream covered clover apply lipstick and sing 'oh bla da' An alto for a day A Day In The Life; of sisters from Shangri La close your eyes and walk this way... ........Today Magic is as magic does but don't overstay the mistook return as a man; cause lipstick stains leave a blot on your coffee cup

The shadow was blue Lana twisting in poise but nobody uttered to break up the noise The image projected in a reckoning stance arms lifted by ballet lost in a dance I recognised the door and the room and its glow so maybe its a dream; so what let it flow To u Lana for liking my words

Glad to see that Magritte's picture (one of Mr. McCartney's favourite painters) on my avatar inspired you for a beautiful poem! Thank you, I liked it! And don't know why but the images in your poem reminded me one great song of one Great Musician 'I thought I saw your shadow in an old doorway... The earth ain't flat, I finally made the decision, and that is that. And now I know, there's only one place to be, You know where that place is, yeah, for you to be with me...'

HEY Lana good to hear from you. I never knew that was a Magritte painting as I only know a few of his works as I was not really interested in surrealism as an art movement once I got to art college. And I am ashamed to say I didn't recognise Paul had wrote such similar lyrics. perhaps he was inspired by your Magritte Avatar pic just listened to the song now from Flaming Pie. there's so much for me to explore of his solo works. anyhow if you want that poem was written for YOU, inspired by Magritte, AND A TOUCH OF MAGIC FROM McCartney so if you want it you have full ownership of it best wishes quail x

Thank you, dear quail, for your wonderful poem, I'll cherish it. So you got to art college, wow, cool. I'm just so much obsessed with Mr. McCartney's songs that everything always reminds me one or other of his songs Hope to read more of your poems!

Hi Lana thank u so much for the you tube links i'm not very literate with the computer!!! so it was great to 'sit in' on his Master class. He is a good story teller hey? but you must have had a problem understanding the dialect, as Liverpool accents speak so fast. do you know the collaborator he was working with? when he was trying to be cool as to whether he was included, cause I found that hard to catch aswell and im interested. I hope you are well my friend and your own music flowing regards quail

He is the best storyteller, yeah, and he's talking about Kanye West. Oh this accent I'd listen forever Actually, yes, I have a problem understanding English Can I ask you, please, to tell me what are the words in 'Struggle' at the end of the song? (my fav song on New album!) 'I want you too if you want me I want you to do ... yesterday in dream It's the same way You could have it now .... ....' :

to struggle means to fight to get free ( or wrestle.) if its of the mind to wrestle with ones self like a hard journey but I will listen to the song to put it in proper context for you x

Dear Lana, I listened to the song and thought it very powerful, with a rousing beat. the way I read 'struggle' in this context, is the complex and 'hard graft' involved in an intimate relationship between lovers. as soon as we are born we struggle; for food, warmth, water and other essentials here Paul is singing of the struggle for LOVE. All you need is LOVE!! now he sings 'All I want is Love'. is his love unrequited? "eternal Struggle" we all want love hope this is clear for you love quail

Thank you, dear quail, for taking your time to put the words of "Struggle' in proper context for me. I liked your understanding of this song.
