Today in the mail, I received my first uke, a Savannah soprano, yellow in cover. Yes, it is a cheap piece of instrument, but for a beginner, I think it shall suffice. I'm realizing several things: 1. My fingers hurt like a ***** because I don't have callouses built up. 2. The uke is one addictive instrument. 3. I've almost learned "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in 3 hours. 4. I need to give up my job and busk on the streets. Any suggestions as to uke tips, songs to learn that are easy for a beginner? I'm aiming to learn "Ram On" next because, well, come on. It's required of all Paul fans who own ukes.

      My lyric video for "New":

Good luck. It's a pretty easy song to learn with minimal finger movemnts (giggity) and you'll be playing it in no time! Post a video when you've learnt it 😉
