I don't really get why you included Live In Los Angeles. This was a promo CD that can (for now) be got hold of almost dirt cheap, so why is it "collectible"?

I would say the official 4 track Ep would be worth more through time, the Thrillington CD is also easy to get.

Thanks for the comments. In my CD article, I wanted to show some Paul items which I thought were unique in some way, and also might have a little story behind them. It's a good bet that Thrillington will be one of the bonus discs when Ram is re released as part of The McCartney Archive Collection. But how many non-hardcore McCartney fans really know about Thrillington? The same with the Daily Mail version of The Amoeba concert. Here in the U.S., we just had the 4 track EP released. I do think in time the 12 track Daily Mail Amoeba CD will be worth more. Marshall http://marshfish.hubpages.com/hub/Five-collectible-Paul-McCartney-related-compact-disc-releases

Hi Marshall. I like your 2000 mpl set, thats a good one When the 4 track ep was released here it cost me £11 i wouldnt imagine it sold that well and only small amounts were stocked by HMV at the time.

Macsback, Thanks for the kind words about the MPL set, too. I appreciate it. It's interesting that the Amoeba 4 track ep cost that much at HMV in the UK at the time. It was about half that amount when I bought it at the much missed Virgin Megastore in San Francisco. Take care, Marshall http//marshfish.hubpages.com/hub/Five-collectible-Paul-McCartney-related-compact-disc-releases

I would hope that anyone who is a "hardcore" Macca fan would know about Thrillington! P.S. I paid about $5 for the 4-track Amoeba's Secret from Amazon.

Nancy, I would hope, too, that hardcore Macca fans would know about Thrillington and Brung To Ewe By also. Marshall http://marshfish.hubpages.com/hub/Five-collectible-Paul-McCartney-related-compact-disc-releases

it still has the price tag on it, I thought it was expensive at the time for 4 tracks, thats HMV for you. I would have been cheaper ordering it from the states
