Paul In Oz! On Monday night, actually... 9:30 - 10:30 on ABC. Be sure sure to watch and/or tape it!
PAUL MCCARTNEY IN RED SQUARE Footage of Paul McCartney's three-day whirlwind trip to Russia. His music helped to open their society, but McCartney never had the chance to perform in Russia... until last year, May 2003. DURATION 55 mins

Hey Everyone... Wats been happening??
-
Was quite a good watch I gotta say Chrissie can I email you my form so ya can lodge it for me? Hahaha!! Gotta put in my last one before starting work tomorrow, only the person who printed it for me didn't realise it's a public holiday here today. So I have to go in tomorrow, only I'm not sure I can make it around my work hours. Doh! -CS
-
Yes, it was a very interesting watch. At first I was disappointed at the fact that it turned out to be about half-documentary, half-concert footage - but the documentary stuff was so interesting it really didn't matter. It's amazing how much influence The Beatles had in the USSR even though they were banned. Looking forward to John Lennon's Jukebox next week. Paul in Oz! (he had a huge influence here too, and he wasn't even banned!)
-
Yeah I really enjoyed the documentary footage too, and was glad it was included, cause I'm not a huge history buff. Was educational as well as rocking -CS

What did you think of the sound quality of the concert? I thought it sounded a little weak. Could have been because of the huge outdoor venue. Didn't think they sounded as tight as usual. The doco was great. Quite emotional. We can get emotional too, Paul!!!!!!! PAUL IN OZ, PLEASE Cheers Chrissie

Do the Oz, Macca!

I don't think a concert at a huge outdoor venue will ever sound all that great on tv. I wonder whether they caught the sound live from the speakers or mixed it from the soundboard? Probably the best strategy for things like this is to go for the soundboard mix. Paul in Oz!
