-
no, I had to go to bed cos I had to get up at 6 the next morning to catch the bus for school. i wish I could've though!
-
Ah well. From the sound of the questions that got through someone asking "when are you coming to Australia" probably wouldn't have been answered ( Hey, he said in the chat "no touring until late next year". Think we can keep these "Come to Australia" Threads going until then?? I'm keen if you are!! Of course, any help would be appreciated Aussies!!!!! -CS

Anything to get Paul over here!

How was your day!? I had double Maths! So boring!

Yeah, not too bad thanks. Had a real busy weekend with gigs and stuff, so today was really just spent catching up on all that. Nice day to do it too, cause it was raining and blowing a gale! Double Maths? Ouch there!! I'm one of the lucky ones who did my schooling before Double Maths existed! I'm guessing I wouldn't have enjoyed it ) How was it apart from that? -CS

Hi Belinda and Chriska It appears the three of us are going to be front row, centre when Paul tours Australia!!!!!There doesn't seem to be any other Aussies on this board!!That is actually a fantasy for me to be in the front row and to be able to make eye contact with Paul. That would be awesome. His music, and him personally, have been such a large part of my life for so long, I am not sure how I would react though. My husband took me to see Paul in '93 but to this day, I have very few recollections of the concert!!!My husband said I just stood there all night, my eyes riveted to the stage. On that tour they had this platform that swung out over the audience. Well when that happened, it swung within about ten feet of us, we were in the tenth row. Do you know what?!?! I can't remember!!!!! Anyway, I am determined to remember every second this time!!! Cheers Chrissie

Hi Belinda and Chriska
Hi There Chrissie
It appears the three of us are going to be front row, centre when Paul tours Australia!!!!!
It does look that way doesn't it! I could certainly handle sharing front and centre with your good selves, but geez, I wish there were more of us here. I remember when the show was announced, there was Aussies everywhere. Was great.
but to this day, I have very few recollections of the concert!!!
Yeah, I think I can relate to that. Quite a few gigs I've been to (Brian May, Megadeth and Kiss come to mind) have been BIGTIME dreams coming true, and while I know I enjoyed them immensely, I don't know much else about them! Luckily I got the Kiss one on DVD Wierd how that happens though! At least we enjoyed them I guess! Wow, you're lucky seeing him in 93! I would've been turning 13 then, so not much chance of going. This time for sure!! You there Belinda? -CS

Im here! I just wanna see Pul before he dies. I know that sounds horrible but he aint young anymore! At least you got to experience it once Chrissy, I jus sit and dream! Hoping he will come to Adelaide! I LOVE YOU PAUL!

Hi Guys nice to hear from you both. I hope we can keep this thread going so Paul will know we REALLY want him to tour. Been watching a lot about Bali in the last few days, I can't quite believe it is 12 months since that horrible day. That means it is also almost a year since Paul cancelled the Melbourne gig. I have a theory as to why that happened. You guys would undoubted noticed that one of the high profile victims of Bali is the footballer, JASON MCCARTNEY. Now I know Paul has relatives in Australia and I was wondering if Jason is one of them. If so, the cancellation makes a lot more sense if Paul actually had a relative that, at the time of the concert, was critically ill. What do you guys think? Cheers Chrissie

Would make perfect sense if that were the case. I certainly wouldn't wanna play if I were in his shoes and had a relative critically ill. I remember hearing he had relatives here too and at the time thought perhaps Jason was one of them. I wonder how we might find out if they're related? I'd put out the call to other Aussies on the Forum, but there only seems to be three of us here ) Whatever was behind it, I don't doubt that he had his reasons for doing what he did, and I'm confident he'll be back at some point. When it happens, it's gonna ROCK too!!!!!!! -CS
