Paul, Come To Australia
-
I got the album at last!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn I REALLY like it. Different. Have only listened to it 3 times in full, but it immediately struck me as something special. "English Tea" was the standout track, and also "Promise to you Girl". I'm sure that will get added to / change as I go with more listens. WOW - GREAT album though. Didn't get the DVD with my copy, but way impressed!!!!!

Hey Chris It has been a while! Haven' t been near a computer in ages. I am glad you are enjoying Chaos/. I think it is great too. Other tracks I love are Too Much Rain, Anyway and especially This Never Happened before, I think one of Paul's best love songs in a long time. As a musician, you should try to get a copy of the DVD as in it Paul discusses how he comes to writing lyrics and lots of musical comments on instruments etc,. Very interesting. Anyway, how are things with you? Sad about U2, I hope The Edge's daughter is going to be OK> PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie

Yup, have my eye on a copy of the album with the DVD - HMV still have a bunch of them Just grabbed this one now, cause it was $15 brand new!! Will get the other one when I can!! Going pretty well thanks - been a LONG time. Was gonna try and see The Stones, but it sold out in 15 minutes apparently Been playing here and there, hitting the gym (which I'm enjoying a lot), and had a mole removed from my left arm on Friday (which wasn't so fun ). How about you?? So it's true about Edge's daughter?? SAD My mate was coming from Malaysia to see them.

If the 80 year old Queen can make it out here, why can't Paul? PAUL IN OZ!
-
BUMP!!!!!! PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie

This has probably been mentioned already, but Visa Preferred Seating have a Paul McCartney tour on their waitlist - ie. if any shows are confirmed, people who've signed up to receive alerts will have first dibs in tickets. Allegedly it's planned for the end of the year.
-
Apparently Virgin Blue have had it listed on their rumours section too my mate told me. Interestingly these guys were one of the first sites to break news of The Stones tour (again, this is from my mate).

For want of a better phrase, please please me! I'll see Paul only once and then I can die a happy lass...in fifty years!

Hello Chrissie and all!!
-
Hi all, KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!! PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie
-
Still waiting I saw Glenn Hughes the other night Chrissie, who I'm guessing you'd be familiar with?? INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!
-
Hey Chris, How are you? I am sorry to say I don't know who Glen Hughes is! Can you enlighten me? PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie
-
Very well thanks Chrissie - just moved to a bigger place. pretty excellent. Have the cat here with us and he's such a character. Thinks he's a dog a lot of the time. Walks on a leash and stuff. Jumps up on two legs against you for a pat when you call him to for a pat etc. Funny thing!! Glenn Hughes used to sing in Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. He makes albums with John and Chad from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers now. AMAZING singer!!!! I'll let ya know when the gig is on telly if you like
-
Hey Chris, Your new place sounds great. It is always nice to feel settled somewhere. Cat sounds cool. Bit embarassed ops: Should have known him. Certainly, let me know if it's on tele. Quiet on the Paul front though, isn't it. I guess he is going throuhg a bit of stuff at the moment. anyway, PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie

Paul in Australia! BUMP
-
Yup - will let ya know Chrissie Yeah understandable that it's quiet. I'm sure this has been brought up, but I had the thought a while ago. Does anyone get the feeling that maybe Macca has been booked for Rock in Rio next year in Sydney?? The rumour of him touring has been on a few sites and mags for a while, yet we hear nothing at all. This would make sense, but I'm probably wrong.
-
Hey Chris, How are you? Haven't been around in a while, heaps busy at the moment. What is Rio in Sydney? Haven't heard about that. Hope he comes to Australia some time soon, with all the crap going on in other parts of the world, Australia seems to be one of the safer places to visit at the moment. (Hopefully!!!!!) Besides it is the best country in the world!!!! PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie

It's Rock in Rio - One of the biggest music festivals in the world if not the biggest. I guess it started in South America, but don't really know it's origins or heaps about it, but they announced about 2 years ago that it would be happening in Sydney in 2007. Am starting to get the feeling that maybe they've signed up Macca for that and he's waiting for that before playing here. Just a thought and I'm probably wrong. Hey do you like Cheap Trick Chrissie?? Got their new album recently and it's SOOOOOOOO good!!!!! Guess what I'm listening to at the moment? Am hearing whispers that they may be touring Aus soon too. Hoping it's true!!!!!!!!! Talk to ya soon
