WHAT BIG GIG!!!TELL!!!! There is a rumour that all of Paul's equipment for the US tour is in storage in LA waiting to be shipped to Australia!!!! Hope that is right. PAUL IN OZ AND NZ MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL Cheers Chrissie
-
Was a Megadeth tribute show we put on here in Hobart. Had to work HARD on it!! Where'd ya hear the rumour Chrissie??
-
Hi Chris, It was on a post on this board, but can't find it now. Sounds like your gig was great, I hope it all went well for you. Did you have a good Chrissie?? We had a great day, just all the family and the kids. Really nice. PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie
-
Yup an excellent Chrissy thanks Chrissie Just hangin with the family. Had my lady down in Tassie with me so cool there Glad ya had a good one
-
Hi All, especially Chris Seems we are the only regular Aussies left, Chris!!!! Had a quiet New Year but have been really busy since, that's why it has been a while since I have posted. No more rumours appear to be happening, which, in itself could be a good thing. In the past, Paul's tours seem to be announced completely out of the blue/ Let's hope for news soon. Hope you are all well. PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie

Same here with the business - sorry about not popping in. Hope you've been well. Greg posted this: http://macca.devstars.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=47551&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= Is about all I've heard. Still don't get it. As an example of WHY. Anthrax, who are a metal band that originated in the 80's from New York, sold around 5000 copies of their last album in the US - Not a lot of sales, especially not for someone with such legendary cult status, yet they've toured Australia for the last two years in a row. Is rediculous that the Macca camp can't, or won't make it happen. Hope there is some news for us. Lil bit frustrating Heard the new Stones album a while back Chrissie. You heard it??
-
Macca needs to put more effort into making sure his music will get listened to and that means securing airplay everywhere making sure the promotion is constant and wide reaching. If that was so he would see incentive to tour outside the US where he is still in favour. A good thing is that if he gets it right in Australia, the press will hail this a comeback cause they are ignorant twats. Paul I hope should tour Australia and the other countries because it is needed, the Stones do a world tour and no suprise their album is doing well worldwide. Paul is a lot better than what he is achieving outside the US and respect must be shown.
-
Hi Guys Paul will tour, I am sure!! Chris, I haven't heard the Stones album, but do believe it is good. I just find it difficult to get away from the way they look, man they are ugly!!! PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie

Fair enough Chrissie. Ya know there isn't any visual required for a CD though? Haha, hope you're well

don't know if this is true, but my mum caught the end of something on the tv about jessica rowe interviewing paul on the today show this monday. could this be the announcement we've been waiting for???!
-
Hi All, Apparently, Richard Wilkins interviewed Paul about his new album. I missed the interview (bummer!!!) but I don't think there was any mention of a tour or it would have been in the papers, I am sure. Did anyone catch the interview? PAUL IN OZ Cheers Chrissie
-
Didn't see it Surely he'd ask him about playing here you'd think?
-
I heard about the interview, and totally missed it. I even tried to find it on the net at www.today.com.au , but can't download the software to run the damn video......
-
I posted (somewhere!) that the interview would be on (found out about it cos my mum happened to catch the end of an episode of the show that said it'd be on, nothing on the today website). I saw it and it was about chaos, and writing songs in general, but PART 2 of interview is on this coming MONDAY around 8PM. Hopefully richard will ask anout the possibility of a tour. seems like a logical question, unless he has been warned off the topic by paul people. I kind of think that its a little unusual for paul to be promoting the album here so long after the release date unless there is something (like a tour!) to follow. Anyone think the same, or am i being a little too hopeful? lol
-
Hi All Lucy, I think you might be correct. I will make sure I watch on Monday!! PAUL IN OZ, WWWAAAYYY OVERDUE!!!!!!! Cjeers Chrissie

Hi All > Lucy, I think you might be correct. > I will make sure I watch on Monday!! > PAUL IN OZ, WWWAAAYYY OVERDUE!!!!!!! Look, i dont mean to be a wet blanket, but really i think it's time Aussies accepted the fact that Paul isnt/wont be coming back, he's had plenty of chances since 2002 and he hasnt made the effort, people quote their impecable sources, well i have one as well .. and according to them he isnt and wont be coming back, it got close and was talked about and discussed a few times, but it isnt and wont be happening. I really think it's time to just let it go, it dosnt hurt to have hope, but i know as well as anyone that false hope only causes heartache, it really does your head in getting all excited only to be let down time and again. Best to just let it go and 'if' it ever happen's then it will be a pleasant surprise. As you've seen by the massively reduced numbers of Aussies on this board most have moved on, it's sad and unfortunate .. but totally understandable. Still love the guy, and to my mind 'Chaos' is the best work he's ever put his name to. I'm just glad i took the chance to fly to L.A last year and see him there. Greg xoxo

Well good for you Greg But unfortunately not all of us can pop over to LA at the drop of a hat, so if we choose to keep hoping Paul will tour, I don't think it is very nice of you to keep dashing our dreams. Just Let it Be Cheers Chrissie
