Oh My gosh, I hope so! Im praying to god, he'll come to Adelaide!!! I'll probaly faint, lol! I hope i'd be well enough to go, should be! My hair is back And I Feel so beautiful! Pual come to australia, I still have those socks of yours Luv Belinda
HaRd_DaYs_NiGhT, if Sir Paul follows the suggestion of my psuedo tour promotion sign, you are in store for a treat (and maybe you will have a chance to return his socks). HAHA. I posted this in Paul Chat, but I will share it here as well...this is for moral support from this Yank in the Houston, TX area USA! I don't know how the land mass of Oz would compare to the continental US, but I would think if Paul could have a US tour around the country that it should be arrangable in Oz as well...but then again the USA isn't a continent like Oz and I suspect Oz may be a bit larger. The logistics may present a problem in terms of travel times and moving all the equipment over a vast area like that...but I am not a concert promoter either so I really have no basis from which to form a valid opinion. However, I am cheering for you all! I think it would be a very kind jesture on the part of Sir Paul if he opened his next world tour in Oz given the misfortune some of you experienced last year. macca4ever

Hi again Maccaever It is great to have people from countries included in the last tour, being so supportive of our little attempt to get Paul to tour Australia. He has toured Australia three times before, so I am sure he could manage a Nationwide tour again. Most of the capital cities are within 8-12 hours apart, except for Perth in Western Australia which is a couple of days by road. Of course, the performers can fly. BigMaccaFan, WELCOME. Let's hope we can get more Aussies to post and keep this thread up the top!!!! PAUL IN OZ IN 2004, THE YEAR OF THE MACCA cheers Chrissie

Being that on the last 3 McCartney world tours, Australia was included in only one...I have to believe that Australia will be on his next tour.

Hello Paul McCartney Fans! I am Belinda's Mother and i'm sorry today that Belinda will not be on ere for a week or two. Sadly to say she still has her cancer and must spend quite sometime In the hospital. She asked me to post on the Australia ones so I hope i'm in the right place. She's being very strong and I went to visit her this morning but she was very exhausted from her first day there! She is in much pain but she is trying not show it. We all believe in her because she is the most strongest person I know and she even helps her own Mother through the tough times. It's very quiet in the house without Belinda, I can hear no Beatles!? Quite depressing to be honest! I hope Paul does come to Australia because Ive read all of these posts and you deserve a concert.

Hi Belinda's Mum Thank you for keeping us all informed of Belinda's progress. I think I can speak for everyone who regularly posts, we have become very fond of a lovely young friend. I live in Adelaide so we have had a few "local" conversations. Please give Belinda my personal love and best wishes. I know what a "bitch" cancer is. My sister-in-law is fighting her own battle at the moment. I do hope she is feeling much better after this recent treatment and that she will be back chatting to us soon. Tell her we will keep her threads going while she is away. Lots of love and hugs Cheers Chrissie

Hi There Belinda's Mum, You are in the right place indeed - WELL DONE Bel is a really beatiful person, and her enthausiasm and positivity never ceases to amaze. It was quite recently that I joined her in a usually daily bumping of these threads, and spoke with her more that I learned what she was going through. It just broke my heart. She has such a fantastic attitude that I never would've guessed that she's going through more than many of us probably ever will. Please give her a big hug for me and tell her that I'm thinking of her. We'll definitely keep these threads up top too - NO PROBLEM! Sincerely, -Chris

Hi Belinda's Mom! Let her know that we are sending her some Texas Sunshine all the way from Houston, Texas! Get Well Soon, Belinda! macca4ever

Hi Chrissie...Thanks...I am from New York and I actually got to chat briefly and shake hands with Paul when he arrived for the soundcheck at the Nassau Coliseum (Long Island, New York) during the first leg of his tour. Being a Beatles fan since '64, you can imagine how UNBELIEVABLE that was!!! An edited version of the encounter made it to the Back in the U.S. dvd. Be patient Australia, I'm sure Paul won't let you guys down on the next tour! Belinda...GET WELL SOON!!!
-
Wow, that must have been a fantastic experience! Thank you very much for sharing! I went back to school on tuesda but its today (wed) i stayed home cos i feel sick and I have to stay home tomoz too, *moans* Where are you guys? Luv Belinda
-
Hi Drivingfan Thanks for you story. Which one are you on the DVD? My God, just meeting Paul would be fanatastic but then being on the DVD would be sensational. I have been a Beatles fan since '64 as well. Did you ever see the Beatles back then? I was in high school and when their motorcade travelled from the airport to the city, people lined the streets for about 10 miles. I live in Adelaide in Australia and I think we still hold the world record for the biggest crowd to welcome the Beatles. Estimated at 300,000!!!!!!But guess what? Our dragon of a headmistress had the gates of the school padlocked so we could not see them!!And to top it off, my Dad would not let me go to the concert because I was too young!! So I missed them completely. cry To make up for it though. I saw Paul live in '93. AWESOME!!!!! chrissie D P
