Seattle, Washington, Safeco Field, July 19, 2013 - ARCHIVE

I'm getting nervous seeing that others have already gotten their tix. I just got an email that they "have been dispatched". I hope them come soon. Are others still waiting for Seattle CrowdSurge?
-
I got a response from the office at Safeco field: "Thank you for taking the time to contact the Seattle Mariners. In section F, if you are facing the stage, seat 1 will be on your left closer to the center of the stage. If you have any questions, don?t hesitate to let us know."
Jude Dude:

Does anyone happen to know how the numbering of floor seats will work at Safeco? Does #1 mean the very left of the section or very right? I have seats 11/12 in section F and I am hoping that is more center and closer to the stage but I can't find any info to confirm this.
I'd love to know how the numbering works too. We are also in Section F, seats 7/8.

Finally got my tickets today from CrowdSurge. Phew.

Thank you for sharing the information about the seat numbering. That's great news!! I never thought about contacting Safeco Field ops: And I'm glad you got your tickets.

Since it's after July 4 I assume open. I am wondering if he will start later than usual though since we get that late sunset here in Seattle. Does that seem to factor into start times at all?

I purchased tickets from CrowdSurge through the McCartney website when pre-sale tickets for Safeco Field first became available. I have a copy of the receipt and confirmation number and the money has been taken from my bank account. On May 2nd, I received an email from CrowdSurge informing me that the tickets had been shipped, however I have not received them yet. With the show just over a month away and the notification of shipping just over a month old with no tickets in sight, I am greatly concerned. I contacted CrowdSurge but they state they are unable to reprint/resend the tickets. I've spoken to TicketMasters as well as the venue itself with nothing but a "contact CrowdSurge". Has anyone had a similar experience with CrowdSurge and the purchase of pre sale tickets from the McCartney website? Was it resolved to your satisfaction? Hi Mike, sorry to hear of your worries. It would seem sensible that Crowdsurge do not resend or duplicate your tickets, if there are shipping issues the duplicates might suffer a similar fate. They would usually cancel despatched tickets - they would no longer be valid if they did in due course arrive - and make arrangements for box-office collection on show day. You suggest you are in touch with CrowdSurge already, but in case here's their on-line support pages; http://www.crowdsurge.com/faq/ You may also log-in to check your ticket's reported status and check if the despatch was made using a track-able method though links on that page. Martin

When I purchased through CrowdSurge I did regular post instead of FedEx or whatever expedited shipping they use. When I got the email about the tickets being in transit I noticed they specified that I didn't do expedited tix and they weren't responsible for lost or damaged tickets by the post. I panicked and wondered if I should have just spent the extra $17 to ship faster. I did get my tickets about a week after receiving the email. If you don't get anywhere by contacting CrowdSurge see if you can post to their facebook page. Publicly complaining sometimes gets people to respond quicker. Also check with your post office. If you have a locked mailbox ask what you can do to find out what happened. If there was a possibility of someone stealing them you can file a report. Keep trying and good luck!

Hi I'm going to the McCartney show in Seattle on July 19 and was curious about parking. I lived in Seattle 6 years but not too familiar with this part of town. What is good cheap parking within a short walk to venue. Note short is relative term. I just don't want to pay 40 to park in any of the venue garages. Kevin

My go-to free spot for M's and Seahawks games are the streets off Airport Way - Massachusetts, a couple spots on Airport and Walker were free last time I was down there. That's a little over a mile away, so all depends on how much you value your time and mind walking. (There have always been enough other people walking before and after events that I have felt safe.) I haven't used pay parking since I was a kid (and my parents were driving), but with all the viaduct construction, I'm not sure what the state of those lots are, and obviously the sub-viaduct parking is gone. There are a bunch of pay lots on 4th, south of the stadiums, and more on Holgate, but I'm not too familiar, and not sure about the price. I think they might be better than the stadium garages based on my limited experience just because the garages take forever to get out of.

You would think maybe trying to find any place to park down south of the stadium would mean trouble, because I'm sure restaurants and places along those streets are routinely checked for concert/mariners goers who leave their cars in one place late at night. I'm thinking parking somewhere downtown might spare me this possible problem but its so expensive. What do you think?

Hi everyone For those who have been to stadium mccartney shows ... I am going to the Seattle show and was wondering how stadium floor seating is. Is it obstructed because its not graduated? I'm in section j at the Seattle concert. This is the section directly back of the big main floor sections Kevin

Hi Kevin While the stadium floor is level the stage is raised so the view is reasonable. However of greater issue with all floor seating of this nature is the height and conduct of fans seated in your vicinity. For some peculiar reason people attending Paul concerts are moved to stand up and dance so for the majority of the show "seats" can only be viewed as "designated standing areas" so the quality of view will be determined by the height and position of fans in the area immediately ahead of you. It's a common problem at all events such as this, not just Paul's shows, and some shorter fans deliberately choose side terracing to improve their prospects rather than buy floor seating. Martin

The view might not be as good from the floor but floor seating is so much more fun. I'm pretty short (5'1") but I have managed to see OK from the floor seats. For me, it's worth it to be so close to the stage.

Also ... You can't go on mariners website and reserve parking in any of the garages for the McCartney show. The list just shows all of the ball game dates. How can I pay for parking in the garage ahead of time?

We are 9 days away everyone!! I'm starting to get ramped up!!!
