My notifications come and go. the more I visit the board directly, the more I get in my inbox. what I am not getting these past few days are some notices of PMs sent to me. Some. I was surprised to find I had a few messages when I went there.

I still can't get in with IE...but I;ve given up on that.

Just thought I'd mention I am no longer getting notifications of private messages anymore. I used to all the time even if I didn't get notifications of replies on threads I am following. I now log in to check regularly as I've been having conversations with people that I very much enjoy. (I miss the socialnetwork aspect of the website for that)

Hi All. The tech team did report resolving this issue was more stubborn than anticipated. Members may also be getting error message on submission of messages and resubmission resulting in duplicate posts. This is related to this ongoing e-mail server system problem, your original post has been successfully submitted - the error report relates to a problem in sending out a new reply notification to those watching the thread. We're doing our best to remove any duplicate posts we find and continue to extend our apologies to all those affected by this current issue. Martin

Maybe if you all checked your junk folder or wherever missing mail might have ended up? I know that yahoo and hotmail are also glitching up lately with sending emails automatically back and forth. Especially if anyone here has interlinking accounts on either of those services. Lots of stuff ends up where it should not be. That could be where missing mail is, scan all subjects of incoming for anything you might recognize as real mail. Maybe that's where the notifications are? Hope that helps.

No...that's not it. MPL has had problems with this before. I wish it was just a junk mail issue.

How many hundred e-mails did you get? The flush of back-dated e-mails seemed to knock out the server for a moment, the MB was off-line for a while when that flush started. Martin
