Message Board Upgrades 01.11.11 & upcoming...

Just thought I'd point out that when I click on a link sent to my inbox of my link in my favorites menu, I get a message the board is down for maintenance but when I click on it from the homepage here, it's working.

Me too! Plus, when I am logged on and read a thread, then go back to read another, it does not black out the little triangle to indicate that I read it! (like it used to)

If you now click on the older link you have bookmarked, it will say the site is expired...when you find the updated version (either through the home page or by reminder emails), just re-save it as a favorite. It will remind you that you already have it saved and ask if you want to over-write it...just say yes:-)

Glad to see you've all found your way here. The forum has a new home and for those that like to come here directly rather than through the main site this is the new forum link: http://mb.outfox.me/phpBB2/ Update, or this one which is more self-explanatory: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/ Set that up as a new bookmark or favorite as the old devstar address is no longer applicable. I suspect all this is part of the promised new main site, so keep an eye out for news of that... Thanks for your patience while the site was off-line for these changes to be implemented. Martin

Well I suppose we're really meant to come in by the front door through the main site - it is advisable as we can miss new news items if we skip in via this link

No the old addy was maccaboard.devstars.eu so this one is new. All a bit new to me as well, still we'll stumble along and get the hang of things soon

Interesting observation. Should anyone find anything similar that might possibly be deemed a glitch or hiccup by all means list them here, and/or forward a private message to any member of the moderator team. Thanks Martin

That worked. The 'mark all messages as read' (or something) function still doesn't work though...
