Only one man who can help me out now, step forward Daniel... 'Marie's The Name (His Latest Flame)' Hey guys, what's your favourite 'phase' of Elvis? People say they don't like his Las Vegas, white-suit wearing phase, but the music was still great, and it was a memorable period. Others prefer young, fresh-faced Elvis, others around the time of the Comeback Special of '68. Whaddya think?
-
Hi Chris, It was released in the UK as a single. It got to number 3 My favourite Elvis period is 68' Comeback special. He just looked so cool then.
-
When didn't he look cool? I, John

When didn't he look cool?
Well, I think he didn't look quite as cool when he had his 'burns cut off for the army. Of course, he was still the coolest looking soldier I've ever seen.

Cheers Daniel, but a shame that they couldn't get the King to #1, where he belongs... Yeah, you gotta love the Comeback Special. He came back and never missed a beat.

Whaddya think?[/quote Whenever I think of Elvis I always think of the white jumpsuit period first because this is how I first became aware of Elvis in the early 70's. You know everyone had those white jumpsuits back then Elvis, Evel Knievel, the Osmond Brothers, etc.
