What was that critical error about?

Last night the board was down completely, with a CRITICAL ERROR message coming up, I THINK for anyone who tried to visit. What happened?

No idea
All we can do is forward an alert to the people that manage the server. Brief outages can be due to the server rebooting but only last a few moments, nothing like last night. Thanks to all those that sent messages to the Mod team via the private message system and Wall posts on the main site. The e-mail notifications of messages over there get relayed to my phone so we can get on the case promptly. Martin -

Saw that error too. That was weird.
Nice to see the board back up and running. 
Computers can do really strange things at times. I always keep backups of my photo software and files, just in case. -

I saw that too but assumed it was a new retrospective article on the Memory Almost Full album.

It was my fault. Last time the board went down, I was sick at home with a raging virus. Being cut off from my favorite place on the net while stuck home sucks. I'm sick again. So I know the fault's mine.

I heard they were taking certain members and tyeing them up to throw them in the river. Wonder how I missed that appointment myself.

I had this critical error. phpBB : Critical Error Could not connect to the database I then opened up an InPrivate browsing Window, and I could connect no problem, but I can't connect in the other browser session. Weird.

I couldn't connect just now with explorer but I had no problem with firefox.
