i am thinking about going to see neil diamond.
neil diamond is a special one for me a bit of years back (about 10 or so) i took my mom to one of his shows. after the show he was signing autographs and i dragged her to get one- she really loves him..... they actually got to talking (so my mom) and he ended up giving her a bouquet of roses...............quite a thrill for her and a sincerely kind gesture for an older lady, she still tells the story when his name is brought up

bought tickets for ringo today as well as creedance hopefully most other shows will be free and rockmed stuff as those two in themselves cost me a bundle good luck on those seattle tix sandy

I could go to a Bruce Springsteen concert tomorrow night, if I wanted to but I don't know his music enough to want to go!
If you can go for free you should go..I went Mar 29 and I only 'knew' several songs, but it was a blast....he is a great showman..I imagine though with the passing of Danny Federici last week or so, the concert will have a different mood...
That's true, the mood was a bit different at the shows which have come after the funeral. They have been very emotional for both the band and the audience. But still worth going to see. Bruce and the ESB are performing at a very high level right now--they were already there before Danny died and now with the added emotion they are off the charts. I wish I had another one of his shows on my calendar! But I am going to see Ringo this summer, as well as Tom Petty.

This is what I have lined up so far Clapton\Winwood Van Halen Iron Maiden Mark Knopfler Springsteen Macca Ringo Should be great
I got tix for Ray Davies in PA this morning so I can add Ray to my list. Party Party
I wound up going to two Ray shows one in PA and the final night in the USA in NYC. Great great shows!!! I got to meet Ray briefly outside the Beacon and he signed my vinyl copy of Working Man's Cafe. Also went and saw One Night of Queen here in NJ I was very skeptical going in but the guy did the impossible and actually pulled it off. I added some other shows to the lineup for this year Brian Wilson in NYC Miss Sheryl Crow in NJ Also I guess not technically a concert but will see We Will Rock You again when in London in June. I saw it in London in 2006 and in Toronto in 2007 very good show!!!! I had every intention of seeing the Clapton show here in NJ in May but decided against it when I saw the ticket price. I luv ya Eric but I gotta draw the line somewhere.

Paul McCartney The Mars Volta Michael Jackson (If the rumours are true) Led Zeppelin (If they come to Brisbane on their Australian tour) Death Cab For Cutie (If they tour Australia in support of their new CD) The Rocket Summer (If he doesn't come to Australia this year I'll kill someone) Plus others, if the bands announce tours of Australia.
