What Concerts are you going to this year?

So far this year I've seen...\ The Cast of Beatlemania (beatle tribute band) I'm not sure if this counts but I saw Movin Out (Billy joel musical) Heart I went to the M3 Rock Festival (lots of 80's hair metal bands, Twisted Sister was the headliner) My next upcoming concert is Elton John and Billy joel, July 11th aand PAUL MCCARTNEY!!! WOO HOO!!! third citi field show

Simon and Garfunkel tomorrow Mum Smokes/La Dispute w/ To The North, Quiet Steps, Arrows (haven't decided which show to go to) on the 10th of July Sounds of Spring festival in September The B-52's with The Proclaimers and Mental as Anything in November
Simon and Garfunkel still perform? I didn't know that....hmh
They reformed for a tour in 2004 and reformed again this year for an Australia/NZ/Japan tour only.
But...there are rumours that they "may walk off to look for America" in the fall.
I hope that happens! By the way CharlieD, how was your S&G concert?

Cool, I will, you can find the tour set list on eltonfan.net I think...Every show has pretty much been the same, Billy seems to be mixing things up in the set more than Elton. I can't wait! But I'm more excited for Citi Field!

Cindy and I are going to see Heart in concert in Memphis this August. Then the Moody Blues in September. We are hoping Paul plays a concert in either Nashville, St. Louis, or Dallas. If he does, then we'll be there!

I hope that happens! By the way CharlieD, how was your S&G concert? it was alright. Not amazing, but good. Mrs. Robinson was very disappointing, and a terrible classic rock guitar solo in America almost ruined it. The Boxer was mindblowing and hearing Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard was great. They played For Emily, Wherever I May Find Her for the first time in like 10 years and haven't played it at another show on the tour since, so I feel very lucky to have heard that. In other news I'm seeing the B-52s with The Proclaimers and Mental as Anything in November, and GZA in December I think.

They are coming up to Pier 6 in my state, I wanted to go but then Paul McCartney concerts popped up! and to fletch- Heart was great, I saw them in May, the opening act isn't really all that though

Your welcome! For me, one of the best parts was when they did a medley of zeppelin/who/ and even one beatle song! (polythene pam), of course their songs were amazing as well!
