no sick, a hidden diabetes, he died in just a matter of minutes in my arms and my mother's of a diabetic coma. But I guess he knew around 10 hours before because he left me a secret note (a one that he knew, I will find only if he died because the note he left for me, was left in his house, we went for a pijama and came back to my house to rest for a medical exam next day in the early morning. This note I found two days later, after the funeral, also broke my heart because he kind of knew, he wrote to me "Thank you Son, for saying me alive that you love me. In the Grave, even if you say it, I could no longer hear it" (sorry for my poor english on transaltion). I'm heartbroken, we had so many plans together. My mother and him are the thing that I live for, I work for, I enjoy or used to enjoy life for. This is going to take a while. No Europe trip anymore with him to see Macca, no laughs, but I still have my Mom, so, I'm alive now because of her.

Mom will not be okay. She is in hospice care. She should have died in January when she was in hospital in critical condition. With each passing day, her quality of life diminishes a bit. It's harder and harder for her to breathe. We will be with her today on Mother's Day, as she has told us this will be her last Mother's Day. Mom was never planning on going to the Lincoln concert with me. She's 90 and very ill. I bought the insurance so if that is when she passes, I at least get the money back for the VIP ticket I purchased. Mike, I am very sorry for your loss. I will soon be sharing the grief of losing a parent.

I think we all are very sorry to hear your story. I'm with you, but be happy, you still can see her eyes and say "I love you, thank you for teaching me to be a wonderful human being". And bring all your love to her. My father died out of the blue, 67 years old, no times for goodbyes except the note he left me a few hours ago. I don't know which will be harder: say goodbye in person or not knowing. All the best for your Mom.

Thank you. Again, Mike, I am very sorry for your loss. It is very difficult watching my mother suffer and she is suffering now. Back in February and March, she didn't appear to be suffering. Those days are gone. I also worry about the toll this is taking on my dad. He will need us and we will be there for him. Everybody was at mom and dad's for Mother's Day. She said she enjoyed it and we all told her how much we loved her. Even the great-grandchildren who don't give hugs and kisses and say I love you any more did as they were told.
They are 9 and 6. I know the 6 year old is oblivious to what is happening, but it is nice to have her energy around. Takes some pressure off.
