Just rediscovered an amazing album from 1985; Supertramps' "Brother Where You Bound". Can't stop playing it, and the title song is simply superb. A 16 minute opera which matches Pink Floyd, Wings, and Supertramp into an epic song. Has three Dave Gilmour solos!! Holy Batman!!

Old Wild Men by 10CC. From 1974, a song about musicians who are past their sell-by date. This beautiful song was way ahead of its time, because in 1974 there was no such person as a 70-year-old rocker (or even 60 or 50 for that matter).

Lorena McKennitt ~ Mummers Dance
So missing my trip to visit my friends and the local town fayres, Morris Dancers, Green Men, Market Day, Cider in the pub back garden, visiting the National Trust sites, tea rooms with Bakewell Tarts, banners across the streets and the local buskers selling their CD's. My birthday cake from Mark's and Sparks and the concerts we had planned

History is repeating itself. The Military has been called in to shoot at Americans.
4 Dead in Ohio ~ Crosby Stills Nash and Young
When we don't learn we wind up repeating mistskes.
How the Kent State Massacre shooting changed musical history
I'll bet Neil Young will come up with another song, for this sad day in History. I kind of see his Indian dance brewing...

Rainbow Chaser by Nirvana (the 60s band). Another psychedelic gem which should be on YouTube.

Woman in Chains ~ Tears for Fears
Woman in Chains" was recorded as a duet. Orzabal explained the impetus for the lyric to Melody Maker"I was reading some feminist literature at the time and I discovered that there are societies in the world still in existence today that are non-patriarchal. They're matricentric—they have the woman at the centre and these societies are a lot less violent, a lot less greedy and there's generally less animosity...

Just found one of my fave songs in the you tube list
Love Peter Gabriel's videos as well. Apropos of getting out of Corona slump and deciding to travel.

It's reminds me of Ophelia and maybe the poem by Rimbaud

A very beautiful song
Jenny Wren ~ Paul McCartney
Did you ever wonder what that reed instrument is in this song? It’s an Armenian Duduk made with a reed from the apricot tree.

Some Day at Christmas ~ Stevie Wonder
