well, you may have love it all, but those were the "normal" songs like people can like the Beatles hits and not stand I am the walrus or Helter Skelter... what I'm trying to do also is not a "home recording" but adding reverb and all those stuff so it seems like a studio recording (well it IS a studio recording, only I'm not a producer)

"I can understand why guys stare at my chest sometimes" may be one of the best quotes ever. "they're so big that boys actually concentrate in not staring at them" is another great one of her Lucy in the skyyyy.... with Michelle my belle...
beware "ultra hot" photoshoot -
hey you can't miss this Neil Young and Paul McCartney-A Day in the life, in Hyde Park an 8 minute version, Paul appears at his part, Neil breaks the guitars strings, Paul kind of becomes a director like he did with the orchestra at the Beatles version, and in the end... I just don't get what they do ... it's terrific
before he did the encore supposed to be the end of the show even for a ballad lover like me, this is my fav song of Neil Young Keep on Rocking in a Free World (guitars sooo Brian May-like, Brian would have liked to use to the riff of the beginning for Queen) -

it's a bit surreal, in a 60s style... what are they doing at the very end? . I though Neil Young was going to break the guitar in two. I found this. Paul at the Grammies in 2003. "I'm never been at the Grammies" (sad but true, have I ever said I don't like the Grammies?) "If I pass the audition... I want to rock a bit" so he did Helter Skelter, I think it was a performance of anger against the Grammies really, he could have played anything and he plays the origin of metal (yeah and the origin of death-metal, nu-metal, heavy metal... :-P) in their faces Ellen Degeneres introduction is the best ever, simply "Our next performer needs no introduction" and she walks away... Paul at the Grammies (at last) 2003 Fine Line-Helter Skelter

I'm pretty sure this was later than 2003 because I remember I stayed up all night for it and I remember where I was at the time. It can't have been 2003. It was the beginning of 2006 or something. Edit, I looked it up and it was February 2006. It couldn't have been 2003 because Fine Line hadn't even been written then. Chaos & Creation only came out in 2005.

OASIS finally split after a huge punch-up in Paris last night. It's a sad, sad day for British rock history as the two brothers' brawling marked the end of The Summer Of Bigness - and the end of an era. A STATEMENT FROM NOEL 28 August 2009 "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer. "Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan." http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/2613299/Oasis-have-split-up-after-Noel-Gallagher-decided-he-could-no-longer-work-with-brother-Liam.html This is sad news. I hope they'll get back together again.

I agree with you, Stefan. Definitely one of the best vids I've ever seen. Great performance!

What I don't understand about Oasis is how they have stayed together so many years. Well, only Noel and Liam. Noel, as he said, got married, have kids, have now a lot of baggage, and it's not so dedicated to write songs. He has songs for a solo album, though. Just like Paul and John did... That's the song they would sing now Married with Children (live)

I will take part in the Karaoke contest on the place where I like to go. Yes, it's karaoke... but why not?. It's not my thing, but well... I want to see how far can I go. Believe it or not karaoke has given me a lot of good experience. I'm used to sing for myself, not for an audience. And when you sing for yourself, you don't mind loudness, you can always hear yourself and such... But when you hear yourself only through a mic, at first you don't even notice you're singing really loud or not. If I was at home I would have noticed instantly as you may guess... but it depends much on how the loudness of the mic is adjusted, how the background music loudness is, etc. If you've even been to a karaoke, that place it's nothing like that. It's a one of a kind place in all this land. There are 3 kind of singers. -The "they could be pros", someone who does as well as Mariah Carey, Pavarotti, Stevie Wonder, Elvis, etc. Someone you don't know goes up to the stage and he/she does what no-one expected. -The joking singers. Joking, impersonating, parodying, serenading the waitresses... -The ordinary people that just sings once in a while and that can't sing really. And it's still great cause people likes it anyway. I'm been part of the 3 kinds there. I will sing "I'm yours", the lyrics are very appropiate, only Jason Mraz wrote so many lyrics without a rest... quite complicate for a non-English speaker for me, but they will not notice anyway... Btw, does anybody likes the song?, I like the chorus and the bridge, it's "as good as a classic" level.

and as I go, here's a riddle for you all Who's the artist that has appeared more times (106) at the Top of The Pop? (is not Elvis, The Beatles, Macca or Queen...) (40 top 20 hits... and 63 top 50 hits, more than any other band). It's hard to check this but they're probably the rock and roll artist with most live performance ever, 2375 and still touring.
-
Just to let you know I didn't make it to the final of the Karaoke thing... well... and the band I was talking is... Status Quo, on concert here this Friday, I'm gonna see them again, again, again, again, again...
