for the funniest recording... Focus-Hocus Pocus

I've done the Mrs. Robinson recording. Complicated for me, especially after a long time without recording anything. There's some wrong chords and a little mess in some place but I'm too lazy to repeat that too... Probably tomorrow I'll mix it and upload it to a secret link on my website so you Evie can download it and record your voice over... I've got the strong feeling my vocals don't fit this arrangement, I was thinking more of the original version... but If I thought on this arrangement the harmonies would have been weirder... I really don't know how it will be until you add the other vocals.

2 Proposals for sexiest video and funniest recording: Chris Isaak (and Laetitia Casta)-Baby did a bad bad thing
I agree with this choice....watching Chris Isaak get hot and bothered is okay by me
Oh yeah! That is a very sexy video! Chris Isaak looks so happy when the babe is about to take off her bra. But I did not like the ending... what the hell was he doing?
Another famous Chris Isaak one, this time with Helena Christensen "Wicked Game" http://video.google.es/videoplay?docid=1370097243277094363&ei=zVDKSbHTG9KF-QaUnv2VCA&q=wicked+game&hl=es
That one is a classic! I love Helena Christensen. http://images.vietnamnet.vn/dataimages/original/images658343_HelenaChristensen.jpg
I can't believe you don't say a thing about the Ewa Sonnet video, it's not the pizza one but another... You CAN'T MISS that. You know what I mean.
I've seen that video now... Wow! She is so damn hot! The song is pretty cool, much better than RnB. I nominate this video: Susanna Hoffs - My Side of the Bed.
"You'll get yours on my side of the bed..." Oh my. -

Okay, we'll see. I'm also working on the guitar version of Mrs. Robinson, maybe we can also do that one if the piano arrangement doesn't work out.

Though there's a confusion/discussion if they were German or not. Mozart was not Austrian, cause Austria didn't exist then... it would like calling McCartney French if France invaded England in the future... They were Prussian really, If I'm not wrong... I don't like much things like "this country-music" or "this country-musician"... -

"You'll get yours on my side of the bed..." Oh my.I see, that's the one of "Oh, ah, I touch myself. When I think about you, I touch myself" I can't find the video (if ever existed), someone else singing that song...
I guess the video was censored before even being recorded... or was it this the original... for some reasons I thought Susana Hoffs was the singer... -

The piano arrangement has definitely worked out. But I don't know if the vocals will fit... I seem to be singing half like the original half like a rocker... it's a bit silly, I tell you. But I thought we couldn't do harmonies if I sang like a rocker... but maybe we can't do harmonies with me singing this way either. You can try, if you can't I can record another vocals, or remove some instruments, or add...

Well some of the "Spanish" music that's popular outside of the Spain is some of the worst one. Especially the one popular in the USA and UK... not in South America or France or Italy, that is the really good one.

Some of my adventures: -I realize that flirting is like anything, the more you practice the better you are... (though again it seems to be better when I'm unemployed). There's a lot of things happening to me that never did. But only because I'm doing different things... if you do the same things you get the same results. -Karaoke 2nd night yesterday . Hey some people are very good singers in places like that . Some woman that comes with us likes New York, New York but didn't want to sing alone and I like the song a lot. So we did it, half embraced... but well.. I did the quintaessential Sinatra vocal things in that song "I'm go-nna make" "A--a-a-a-andd if..." etc, and people liked it a lot. So I, I like do it alone, but it's great to see people enjoying while you enjoy. Then 7 people did We are the world there. My idea as you may guess . With only 2 mics. I had to do Springsteen, Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles... and people enjoyed a lot too. I wanted to sing something slow and a rocker. So I choosed Unchained Melody and Led Zep's Rock and Roll. (no AC/DC there, no Highway to Hell, no Sex Pistols, no God Save The Queen ) But like when I choosed Bohemian Rhapsody, it seems something was wrong and I couldn't sing Rock And Roll. It seems they don't welcome rock there much... so I had to change to Unchained Melody. And people enjoyed just from the moment the song title appeared on stage. I had the night's biggest ovation.... and the boss there seemed to like to compete or whatever cause he rushed to the mic to sing some songs... With all the people waiting to sing quite upset... He did a fantastic Don't Let the Sun Go Down On me, but didn't stop there at all... Well, another night, I might choose 3 rock songs, so at least one should be avalaible... and that guy will not want to sing that style, I know... Great night for me, so I though I should tell it here.

Doesn't surprise me, I know quite a few very good singers who aren't 'pros'. I haven't been to many karaoke places but I noticed that the very good people are balanced out by the ones who 'think' they can sing....or are too drunk to know better Looks like you had a great time and the crowd loved it too! One karaoke bar I visited had a singer they paid to keep things rolling or to sing duets with if you wanted. He was okay, but sort of 'lounge lizardish'

maybe I knew the "paid singer" yesterday and took it personally... I don't know III don't know... lots of people I know go there for fun, knowing they can not sing well, actually the We are the world we did was all fun, we couldn't even read the lyrics...

Yay, Focus! Proof we Dutch people are capable of making quite brilliant music (something I sometimes doubt : )
The lead guitar player of Focus is Jan Akkerman. He is one of the best guitar players in the world. The singer of Focus is Thijs van Leer. Later he became famous with his band Exception.

New Vanessa Amorosi stuff Get Off of My Cloud (yeah, hey! you! :wink with Ash Taylor
yet another cover of It's a Long Way to The Top and a original song from her last album live, Kiss Your Mama, with her playing guitar too... and after that a tremendous new version of Perfect -
And that Vanessa performances is part of a strange TV show, very Supernova-like... RockWiz where musicians do a contests answering rock and roll trivia! Like what have Queen and Duran Duran in common? The drummer's name is Roger Taylor. from 5.30 on...
Vanessa incredibly didn't answer who sang Piece Of My Heart... only the Like a Virgin misheard lyrics... the contest goes on... guessing songs... Vanessa vs Ash last part with Ash Taylor kind of mocking Eddie Vedder singing style..
