hi to all, logging in to check out what is happening around here. off to driving school online as i got a ticket for a california stop
Is that one of those 'slow down but don't actually come to a halt' at a stop sign things?
Funny, we have those here in Florida, too...........but we still call 'em "California stops".
thats cuz we do it the best sometimes we barely slow down at all
So your defense to the cop was "I slowed down more than most people" ?

Ha! Ten words or less? I know (and anybody who knows me knows that this is not a job for ME. Anybody else want to take a stab at it? Meanwhile, welcome aboard.

I can explain in ten words: sex, boobs, music, food, movies, politics, weather, health, tv, supernovas.

I'd say that just about sums it up. But not necessarily in that order.

You know, this annoys me to NO END. I mean, not Robbie Williams, but the fans getting on stage. I mean, it nearly always ends well, but it could be so much worse. If I was an artist on stage and it happened to me, I'd say to hell with it all and never do another show in my life. : I mean, if you can't be safe anymore on your stage....same thing when I saw Simon&Garfunkel's Central Park concert for the first time and that fan rushed on stage when Paul was doing a solo number, that fan was screaming something like "I gotta talk to you". : I mean, honestly. And that was in 1981, right after Paul's lyrics went "have you heard John Lennon has died". I'd be SO annoyed and really scared as well.

I agree, this annoys me too. No one deserves this. When he is standing there on stage not expecting this and not being able to defend himself he could get seriosuly injured. I would never go on a stage again if something like this happened to me, I would have been to scared. The asshole who did this should spend some time in jail.

You'd think the venue would have enough security to prevent such incidents. Talk about being 'blindsided'...the performer has no idea they are going to get attacked. After disrupting or totally stopping the concert for the many paying fans...they should just toss the slime-bag into the crowd for punishment.

California stop... that's a rolling stop? I sometimes do that too. ops: I just don't see the need to come to a complete stop when there are no other cars or pedestrians visible. But these stop signs are very rare here, instead we use yield signs. How much do you have to pay?

or "where were you while we're getting high?" or "apreciating the beauty there is in life"...

In anticipation of the Eve/Oliver duet..... Once again, there's this really low note in there I couldn't quite reach (, and I capo'ed my guitar again on the sixth fret. With all that sliding and bending, I had a hard time keeping my guitar TUNED while my capo was on, too, so hopefully the guitar part won't sound too false. But it's such a sweet, sweet song and way too short! [Song For The Asking[/size">](http://rapidshare.com/files/204811430/SFTA_mp3.mp3]<span style=) (click to download)
Beautimous as always
(now I've got my sound back)

This is pretty cool. The Final Countdown "unplugged". I like the guitar solo.
Would you believe The Final Countdown was the first record I bought (a cassette really)? And the first thing I've tried to play in my first little keyboard was the keyboards of this song. I didn't know what notes to play, my Dad helped my that... 1986!. The guitar solo is almost the same than the original one...

So, how's the duet planning coming along?
I'm not sure, I think Oliver is going to try a few things now and then send it to me? Right? Oliver? Not that I can sing much right now with that stupid cold that I'm having anyway. :
I try, but I can't record or listen to anything, no sound here.
It's okay, I'm not in a hurry.
The rock and roll God said "Let there be sound" and there was sound... sometimes is seems that complicated... I've got all the Mrs. Robinson new arrangement in my head, so I only have to record it (Kind of like Wolfy used to say... : :lol. I don't know if you're gonna like it really... it's a bit uptempo with the piano faster than the guitar original beat... I've restrained myself the idea of adding elec guitars and drums cause it would have rockier than it is... Anyway, the paralel thing I'll try to do is Bridge, 95% like the original recording or so. So at least you'll like that.

yet the show must go on and if you're a musician you simply must get back to the stage, even if it's danger... like happened to Noel, maybe is the same guy??? It's not the same but I know Freddie (Mercury) had a strange injury on the stage. He broke his arm doing one of those moves he did singing... then he went to the piano and finished all the concert there. Or was it a leg? Yes, It should have been a leg...

Hey, I don't mind other arrangements if they end up sounding good! I'm curious what you will do with Mrs. Robinson! I'm glad you have your sound back, too.

Yes. 1986! That was good year for music. I just listened to the album, I thought it was great when I bought it, and I still like it. I love the synths and guitar solos. I can't remember the first album I bought... but I think it was Dare by The Human League, that was one of the first ones I bought. Great album.
