Sorry if I missed any existing threads about this gem, and I wonder how many people know the song? I was reminded of it today, and I actually owned the album ("McGear") many moons ago. McGear sings it wonderfully.

I thought there was a comment here about the use of The Gysmorchestra in the recording, but Dang! I guess not.

Brilliant album! I was lucky enough to go and see Mike in April at Portmeirion where he took his Sex, Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll....I wish Tour Take a peek at his Facebook pics taken there, if you can access it. He was so entertaining I got a Thank U Very Much badge, so I was over the moon.
