Hello all, Last month, the 1971-1973 Jackson 5ive cartoon series was released on Blu-ray and DVD in the U.S.. There are no bonus features on the two disc set, but all 23 episodes with 46 Jackson 5ive songs are included. The series was animated by Halas and Batchelor Studios in London. Is this set being released outside the U.S.? The reason I bring this up is this program, rarely seen since its original broadcasts,is now out on home video. Sounds familiar to The Beatles cartoon series? It must not have been easy to license the songs for the J5 series, but the toons are now officially released. BTW, the Jacksons also didn't provide their own voices for their cartoon series, same as The Beatles. However, Paul Frees provided a lot of the non-Jackson character voices in that show. He obviously was heavily involved, voice-wise, in The Beatles cartoon program. Here's my review of the new Jackson 5ive cartoon series release http//marshfish.hubpages.com/hub/Jackson5ive
