This is the status quo thread Status quo is one of my favorites bands and in my opinion even if they have sold more than 120 million copies they are still underrated.Status quo are my second favorite rock band after the beatles and ofcourse i believe they are guitar heroes!

never liked them.totally overated and totally out of order the way the singer francis rossi slagged mccartney after live 8 in 2005..... Singer FRANCIS ROSSI blames the egocentric actions of other stars for knocking Status Quo off the bill. He says, "They all wanted to cherry pick when they could play. McCartney wasn't even satisfied with opening Live 8 with U2. He had to come back on later once he heard PINK FLOYD were doing it because he didn't want to be upstaged. "So playing with U2 obviously wasn't good enough for him. Add to that the lot of them onstage, including McCartney, at the end and he's been hogging the stage." miserable big mouth

They are okay, some great tunes for a party, but otherwise more than just far away from the real great classic rock-acts like Beatles, Stones, Who or Floyd f.e.

The only song I like by them is Green Tambourine. But that's only because there was this movie I watched at least 10 times a day when I was 7 years old and a fat kid from the movie sang it over a trippy background. I had no choice but to pay attention. It's been stuck with me ever since.
