I can only imagine people are not voting for Wings because the question is not 'Best band before the Beatles'? So do you all really prefer Queen, Abba and the Bee Gees to Wings? At least George had a sensible suggestion.

There are about 50 bands (at least) that I prefer over Wings

                      09-12-2009 Arnhem (Netherlands)
                      20-06-2010 Glasgow (Scotland)
                      18-12-2010 London (England)
                      01-12-2011 K?ln (Germany)
                      24-03-2012 Rotterdam (Netherlands)

Well, for me Wings it's Paul solo with Denny Laine (and with Linda) and then lots of different musicians. It's kind of like Paul's band to me, yes, with Denny Laine but it's not Denny's songs the ones I like the most. I mean I can't hardly see it as a band. But as "Paul McCartney and Wings"

I don't quite get what you mean since Wings came after The Beatles. I would choose Wings, then Badfinger as my answer. (I also liked The Bee Gees, Queen and lots of others in the 70's)

I took the question to mean, who is the best band after the Beatles, as in. Who is your fav after the Beatles e.g Fav band Beatles and then who....
