Freddie + Caballe album finally orchestrated
-
Out now, finally. Freddie always wished it to be like that, as Montserrat says, but there was no time. She says too Freddie was already ill then in 1986/87. Caballe talking about it
Barcelona orchestrated The whole new album is on the links there -
And it's great! There are a bunch of people complaining about it over on Queenzone, but hey, they always complain about everything. Some of the songs, like The Fallen Priest and La Japonaise have been greatly improved by the orchestrating. The only minor flaw I can think of right now is that the drums are too loud on the gospel bit of The Golden Boy. Another thing to note is that they added (and orchestrated) _Exercises in Free Love_which was only a B-Side before. A lovely release!

Well, it's kind of the same, only in the original it was all keyboards, played by Mike Moran. I use to like orchestra strings but I like more the keyboards version of this. I've seen there's a cd of rarities with all the demos and that, like Rachmaninoff Revenge, great. It's Freddie Bohemianrhapsoding all the time... early!, terrific
similar to the Fallen Priest
