BNL should go on tour with OLP. ....ee-i-ee-i-o.
-
That would be AWESOME!!! I saw OLP last year, and it would be an interesting mix. And besides that, did you see Canada for Asia on the CBC last night?
-
All I saw was BNL....that was enough. Eek, I think I'm addicted to them. They were AWESOME live, I really want to see OLP, though.

Where... Well, anyways, where the hell do you hide on this place. I always go into the threads where I'm a "regular" and then I can't find you. Need something Canadian: Talk about Newfoundland and places being snowed in, eh?

Peterborough, often called "Peterpatch" or "the Patch" or "hub of the Universe" was named for Peter Robinson. A Scottsman who chased his cow accross the Cavin Marsh and ended up here. We're a country founded by people who'd nowhere else to go for the most part. Miserable weather and geography breeding down to earth people who tend to appreciate their neighbors........ even if they're not overly fond of company in the first place. We do have our Margaret Thatcher types though [Brian Mulroney loved her wot : Part of the old story of Paul dying had once revolved around a lad who was going to the private school in Lakefield [Lakefield College School or "The Grove" school] which is a couple miles north of here. Apparently, they found Paul's replacement there and stuck him in the band during the Sgt. Pepper album. Hence the "OPP" or Ontario Provincial Police patch on Paul's Pepper uniform. A big heap of garbage but trivia none the less. A horrible bit of gossip that was as loonie as you get but I did always like the OPP patch on Pauls uniform there. Not to mention probably the greatest half a CD ever made [include Magical Mystery tour to Pepper and you have the best CD ever made I believe ] Anyway, Peterborough is loaded with artists, Trent University students and old crusty Conservatives who grumble at everybody else from time to time from their Cadillacs and Mercedes enroute to the Mall : We have some nice micro brewery type establishments and a few open mic pubs for folks who want to jam some tunes. Karioki [spelling?] happens but it's not really live music in spite of the fun. At any rate, hello from Peterborough Ontario Canada
