Hello Giri, Believe it or not, I haven't forgotten your request and I will try to get to it soon. It's a subject that will take some deep thought. I apologize for taking so long though, but life has been keeping me really busy these days and I've only had time for short posts. Have you seen any posts from Sam? I know he's busy on his screenplay but I'm hoping he'll show up here soon. I iss that thread from the old board.

Hi JEn, I understand. I am sorry to keep pestering you like this. I wasn't around before the bealtes came along and they had broken up by the time I was born os it would be interesting to hear about the world before they came along. No I haven't heard from Sam as this board has been dwon for almost two weeks. If you speak to Mikeskapla tell him to stop by here also. I miss Sam's thread also but maybe my thread could be the replacement for it. What do you think? People who posted on hsi thread can now post on my thread.

Thanks Jen. I was just watching the film Help that I checked out from the library and I loved the parts where George sang I NEed You and Paul sang The Night Before and Another Girl. They made me feel real happy. It is too bad the beatlemania days are gone if you know what I mean. I still want to see LEt It Be. IT is the only film of the bealtes I haven't seen.

I'm sure Sam will get here when he has a spare miniute He's very busy at the moment Has anyone read Sam's book? I know I probebly get moaned at for always 'plugging' it, LOL but it's so good! It's called The Birth Of The Beatles in the US (I think) and over here it's called The Rocking City. To read all about the MeseyBeat era in Liverpool is fascinating! And of course there are some cute piccies in it of Sam with the boys. It's well worth a read Sarah

Hi ((Clo)) and (((Sarah))) It's a great book with insights to those days that only our Sam can give. It's fascinating reading and well-written and yes, the piccies are delightful too! I recommend it highly to anyone who is interested in the true story of the early days. You'll love it, Clo!

Hi (((jen))) & (((Clo))) I agree with Jen. You're going to love it Clo. It was refreshing to read a down to earth account of how the MerseyBeat sound came about. I loved reading about the other groups of the time too Sarah

It's nice to see the Chat Foruim back. I have started my own which you can get to from my homepage at www.samleach.com I've been that busy writing a screenplay on my book that I've been on the laptop for 10 and 12 hours a day. Chat with you soon. BTW I hope you're still voting for me. Cheers. Sam.

Sam, SInce this site was down I wasn't able to vote for you sorry. But I will vote again. Jen told me about your group. You said you are working on a screenplay about your book? I would love to play Paul. I loved when he wore the leather and early rock n'roll sounds so good. I listened to him sing That's alirght Mama by Elvis and ti was pretty good and love Jerry Lee Lewis's msuic and Gene Vincent's and Carl Perkisn Blue Suede Shoes and Chuck Berry's Johny B Goode. I might be a little too old to play Paul at the cavern club since I'm 31 and Paul was about 20 years old when he played there. It will be neat to see the film version of your book. I'm glad you stopped by and it is good to ahve this board back.

Hi Giri The part of Paul will be played...hopefully..by a well known British Actor. I can't say too much until things start being signed which may take a few months...but I'll keep you all posted. Cheers. Sam.
