Hi Gang I'm ALMOST better but the rest of the week is crazy busy. There's a Canadian Film crew coming to see me who are doing a major series on The Beatles and Merseybeat. I'll keep you all posted on that. Then Saturday the British Beatles Fan Club are ho,lding an event at the Jacaranda Club in Slater St Liverpool which I'll be at all day. Hopefully I'll start playing catch-up with the last EIGHT PAGES on Sunday. Thanks for keeping the thread lively and entertaining. Love, hugs and cheers to you all. Sam xxxx

Hi, Tashi The words you chose as your signature are beatiful indeed . The first time I read I though on my great friend Nico, a brilliant guitarr player that died on April . Maybe he´s laughing with John and George right now... Ive tried to make a song for him but the time still didnt come. someday it will. and Andersen` phrase fits perfectly well. I have some tape recordings of beatle covers we did together that I keep as a treasure and will turn into CD. Unfortunatelly I have no idea how to put a song on the internet as Oliver did so well. cheers,

Hi, Sam. Take care with the mix of health and work. Recover before doing your things... The colds are a bad things if they're not healed completely.

Sam, Welcome back! Glad to hear that you are feeling some better. Can't wait to get news about the Beatles/Merseybeat film. I would really enjoy seeing a definitive story of the early Beatles. Cesar, Maybe there is some software that you can use to put songs on the internet.. I will see if I can find any information for you. Perhaps Nico is having a jam session with John and George Sara, Sorry I missed you last night. Hope all is well with everyone. ~Tashi

Hi, Cesar. Putting a song on the internet... 1) First you got to put the song into your PC. If they come from a CD, there's no problem. If you record them as if your PC was a studio, there's no problem too... But if you have tapes... cassettes... I don't know if exist a kind of machine that if you put a cassette it makes a CD of it. It happens with video-cassettes turned to DVD. And this way you'll keep the cassettes in a Cd forever. IF that thing doesn't exists... you've got to look for a way to make the sound get into your PC. Could be with a microphone recording the cassette... In your case I think that is the problem. To put the tapes into a CD. 2) Once you got the music into your PC, it's easy... You've got to make your web. Go to www.yahoo.com and then to geocities. You will be able to made for free your web in five minutes. Then you'll see you can import files from your PC to your web. You do this. And then in the index.html of your web you got to put a link... <a href="Thatstheworldthatibelongtoweb.mp3">"THAT'S THE WORLD THAT I BELONG TO (Download)"</a> for instance... And that's all... If you go to your web html's help they explain to you to make a link to an image, a mp3, etc. I knew nothing at all about all this. I went discovering it for myself. Finally, Geocities is not a domain of yours... so they would gave a little transfer data quantity. That means that if some people wants to hear music at the same hour it won't work. That happened to me when you heard my songs. You can make "twin" sites to infinitum... or have an own domain of yours, like now I have. I know this is very complex... If you decide to try, go asking me your doubts. BTW, I'm gonna make big changes in my web soon... Bye.

Hi , Tashi thanks and thanks a lot Oliver...I´ve just listened again your song ( today you are... ) and it´s great but if I were you I`d try to change it a little for a acoustic or folk style [ to be honest you have to make it and see what happen ] but i suggest you listen The Byrds song " from a distance "... you´ll know what I mean my music is more amateur and we had 2 or 3 compositions still unfinished the more I like to do is to play beatle songs in a more folk way [ i´m looking through you was nice ] with my eagle acoustic guitar tchao by now....
