Yeah Sam is a little behind but not far from first place -- very tight race betwen 6 web sites at the moment. On the subject of age -- agree age is just a number. I am a huge Washington Redskins -- Joe Gibbs just return as our coach -- he's an energy dynamo at 63. Macca is going strong is his early 60s, too -- lots of examples of that. Cheers! Mike
Hi, Mike, Good to see you again. It will be very interesting to see how Gibbs does in this go around. Best, Sam C.

mikeskapla:
If Sam had a favorite football team I'd guess it would be the Chicago Bears!
I thought that Paul's favourite team was the Steelers, or so he told Terry Bradshaw on the halftime of the Patriots Super Bowl....

Hi Sam C Hi there. Yeah, can't wait I am as into Redskins football as am into Beatles/Macca so look forward to next season -- don't know if you watched the Carolina/Rams game that just ended -- what a game. Cheers! Mike

Christina. (Harleyblues). It's a Saturday night and I went out...okay?? I think it was Van Nistleroy but as I don't support Man Utd I'm not 100% sure. After all it was last week. Thanks for drumming up some more votes....appreciated !! Love and hugs Sam.
I am the Manchester United supporter! Doesn't Paul like them as well?

Hey Mike, I saw the game. Two missed field goals and one that was called back for delay of game (can you imagine that), then the winning TD comes from a team not known for their air attack. All of this while Stephen Davis was on the bench! Then, I switch the channel and see the Patriots score a touchdown right after that game winning touchdown. Best, Sam C.

Hi Sam C Yeah, looks like the Patriots/Titans game could be good, too -- already 2 scores. Last weekend the first game in the afternoon were great and the 2nd games were blowouts -- will see how this one goes. Cheers! Mike

Hi Paulfan. John never really enjoyed touring...neither did George that much. It's hard work and they didn't have Macca's burning energy. BTW stop saying that 40 - 60 is old. 90 is old...ish. Paul is like a young stud.......and I'm not exactly over the hill. Cheers. Sam.
Age is manmade and irrelevant.
When you consider how long earth has existed, the universe is old... not a 60 year old man.
Being the ripe old age of 51, I too consider age to be irrelevant, it's all in your head. In my mid 40's I fell into the "getting old" mindset, I was 10 lbs overweight and was dressing frumpy, lived in twin-sets and pearls. Then I heard something Deepak Chopra said "we do not grow old, when we stop growing we become old", so I folded up the twin-sets and put them in the back of the closet (for when I am 90), put the pearls in the safe, cut my hair short (and highlighted it) and lost 10 lbs. The best part was, last year I was accepted by a modelling agency!!! Not sure what 51 is supposed to feel like, but I love it!!!!
I'm 55 and I agree with you (and I just cut my hair too)! Good going---a modeling agency signed you! That's wonderful. Age is so irrelevant but unfortunately, most people don't realize that until they are older. Let's get together when we are in our nineties and we'll still rock the house! And Sam, you'll be there too. I'm not getting older, I am getting better (corny but true).
I'm supposing if I say I'm 16, you'll all bite my head off, so I'll guess I'll say I'm.....30....
:
We all know I'm not. Well, if I'm supposted to be getting better, I'm guessing I'm getting much better!
I have a lonnnng way to go! Well, John and George didn't like touring???? Well, I'm happy to know Paul does. So that's how he keeps his figure.
You must admit, he looks GOOD for his age! *Although, age is irrivalent, pardon my spelling error.
* I don't have energy at all!
Have a good weekend, here's a bump!
Hi Kat, Please don't think that what I wrote was a put down for younger folk. My sons are 16 and 19 and they are indeed, wonderful and constantly getting better, as are you and the rest of us too! Beatle fans of all ages are, for the most part, wonderful people and the fact that we all share this interest makes the world a better place, I think. I work with 4-9 year olds (I run a school library) and I love people of all ages--- and especially teenagers. It's the person's heart, not their age that counts. After all, all you need is love! I truly wish I had Paul's energy, no matter what age he is---and of course, his money wouldn't hurt either. Have a great weekend, everyone! Love, Jennifer
Well, Jennifer, I always misunderstand things and put them in a different light. I'm was sure you didn't mean it as a put down. Sam knows how easily I can turn things around like that. Perhaps it's becuase this is not really a talking conversation where I can hear scarcasm and such. So, this is a little difficult. Also, my last post about this was very playful. That's the way I am.
You think Beatle fans can make this world a better place. I believe we do!
Well, maybe we make people on this board really happy and approving of themselves and such. You know.
Jennifer, I do believe in what you say with a person's heart. That is so kind. I think it's that way, too. Paul's energy would be a good thing.
And the money would definitly would not hurt at all.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Jennifer.
Me and my thoughts on sports: Don't really like them.
*Runs...* lol...Well, I do like baseball though. Football (not the soccer football) just really, really, SUCKS! *I don't really mean to offend anyone by that statement* I used to play T-Ball and Baseball when I was younger. Great fun. Although, I must admit that I was always confused about left handed and right handed and I was just a mess. Now I can throw and catch with both hands with the same accuracy, and I can also bat from both sides of the plate. I'm a very cordinated person, I guess.
Never mind clumsy.
Hope everyone has a great weekend, *Hugs* Kat =^..^=

One song mentioned the manager of Manchester United...It is in Let It Be... I believe it is Paul who says Matt Busby...and Sam Leach can tell you who that was...
