Thanks Sam C, Jennifer, Maccascruff,Cesar, Christina, Vinny, Sarah F, Bev, Mike, Tashi, Kathy and Paulfan and anyone I've left out. We're fighting back against this senseless `Paul Is Dead' site. I've e-mailed my address book so when you get a reminder ignore it. This other site might do some vote rigging again so please ask your pals to help too. Love, hugs and cheers. Sam. xxxx

Hi Sam, you're wlecome. Speaking of the Paul is dead webstie there is actually a webstie where one person believes Paul really did die back in 1966 and was replace by a lookalike named William Campbell. Why was this rumour started back then?
-
Good morning everyone. I just voted and Sam is at number one YAY!!!
-
Hi Paulfan. He's just a nutter Giri that is best ignored. The original starter of that rumour was only doing it for fun then the other looney got serious. What are they like ?? Thanks Tashi Love and hugs Sam.

Hi Sam, I was just wondering what you think of the state of the music industry today? The Superbowl half-time show got me thinking about how talent has been pushed onto the backburner while shock seems to sell. I read a funny editorial in the paper today. A gentleman complained that the Beatles were the cause of the decline of music. He said that people like Cole Porter and Irving Berlin were the true talents. Love and hugs, ~Tashi
-
Hi Tashi. Well that's the whole point...people have their own opinions usually based on stuff they heard and saw during their formative teenage years. But The Beatles transended that. Those who can't adjust to the quality new trends lose out. Justin and his ilk aren't really my cup of tea but others like them so we have to grin and pretend to bear it. And then sometimes we begin to appreciate them a little more. Love and hugs. Sam.

Hi again Tashi I also meant to say that the idiot who thinks The Beatles brought about a decline in music is just an old fuddy duddy who isn't worthy of our notice. Love. Sam.

Sam, I would not call that person an idiot, but I certainly do not agree with that person. The Beatles were a first class group and produced quality music. Under the guidance of George Martin and their incredible desire to try new things, I would say that their music continued the evolution from jazz to rock and roll to popular music.....Of course, I doubt there are too many 'stars' out there these days that are that creative. Of course, IMHO, I think music is declining in quality these days. Now, I hope someone here does not call me an idiot for voicing that opinion. Cheers! Sam C.
-
Hi again Tashi I say he's an `idiot' because how can you criticise the band that will still be talked about 1000 years from now ??Love and hugs Sam.

Hi Sam, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems that the cycle is neverending. Each generation criticizes the next generation's tastes in music, clothes etc. They don't seem to understand that times change. Maybe that is why I don't seem to get the music that is out today-I am too old lol!! Hi SamC, Great points but I have to agree with Sam about anyone who thinks the Beatles hurt music. They took it to a much higher level which unfortunately has not been maintained. Love and hugs, ~Tashi

Hi Sam, YEs he is a nutter. What do you mean by what are they like? On the website the guy has photos of Paul from 1964 and the Sgt.Pepper years to give evidence and says stuff like heis nose or his face looks idfferent that is all. It is pretty weird people think that like they think Elvis is alive and faked his death. Sam the person who said the Bealtes wern't talented is crazy. I agree that IRving Berlin and Cole POrter were talented but so were te Beatles. IT is sad to see shokc rather then talent sell these days along with violence. I don't want to start a big fuss but the stuff out there today is not good for children. Samuel you won't get called an idiot for your opinion. I don't like jUstin much either.
-
Hi Sam C We're the lucky ones in that we can adjust and appreciate today's music is important to young people even though we may not like it that much. And sometimes we suddenly find...."Hey...they're not that bad." Cheers Sam.
-
Hi Giri, How are you today? Personally, I do not like the Paul is Dead sites. Some of these people are scary and really have too much time on their hands. Paul doesn't seem all that bothered. He probably thinks these people have lost the plot. I have a quote from Paul about this very topic as my signature. You are right, SamC will not be called an idiot for his opinions. We are just having some harmless fun at the expense of a guy who can't appreciate the Beatles. ~Tashi

Hi Tahsi, I'm doing fine today. I agree with you that the guy who started the Paul is dead rumour has way too much time on his hands. I do think people lost the plot. SamC should definitely be entitled to his opinion. The person who can't appreciate the Beatles are missing out on something good. Now about today's music I can undersstand time chaning and all that stuff but I don't see how violence being sexy and swearing alot has to do with it. I wonder how it will be ten years from now if people keep continuing to push the envelope. I hope they don't make music that glamorized pedophile bheavior one day.

Sam & Sam C. I would have to agree with Sam here because I think whoever would say that really is an idiot. And I also have to agree with Sam C. because musical quaility really is declining, although not many people really seem to notice. There really aren't that many people out there that are nearly as creative anymore, I lose respect for artists when I find that they don't write their own music or even play their own instruments. Peace, jen

About the Beatles hurting the music... We see music hurted because... now we ain't got nothing like that. Mozart and Beethoven "hurted" music in the same way. They were unique so the followers seemed to be not good enough. And I think that we can't blame them for being too good! LOL. I hope we have soon a new Beatles or Mozart or so, so he/they "hurt" the music again to the bones.

Hi Oliver Well said. I hope your CD is progressing. Cheers Sam.
-
Hi Sam, thanks for your wishes. Well, my CD is not progressing at all. I'm resigned. I only have the chance of put it in my local radio station or so. On the other hand we're working on the Adopt A Minefield common CD. People are finishing the recordings.
