Hi all I wouldn't be too hard on Stern -- I think he's been very cool to Macca. When Macca came on the show -- he was gushing if I recall he said something like him being the biggest guest on his show ever. He seemed to really know even Macca's more obscure stuff saying he loves the song That Would Be Something and hummed some of the lyrics. When Stern saw his concert at a later time apparently the next day he started his show gushing about Macca's concert saying he almost broke down when he heard him do BlackBird it was the best show he ever saw, etc. In fact, part of Sterns comments were published in Macca's last tour book. He might be a shock jock but I think very kind to Macca. Cheers! Mike

Sam, Hello there! I just wanted to let you know, i got your book today, in the mail, and I really appreciate it! I will be sending you the cheque after Saturday morning (Aerosmith tickets). Thanks again!!! Can't wait to start reading it!!! Peace
Hi Kim! Yeah, so I'm not Sam.... *It's hard to be Sam, I'm sure. ;)* I had the book for awhile, and it was a great read, especially becuase I was going through a lot of stress becuase of semester finals and such. I would like to know what you think of it too, Kim. Have a great weekend all!!

Samule, I'm glad that the part time job keeps you out of trouble. As for the movie it did seem that Howard wanted sympathy. I wonder if he stood up for himself more as a kid maybe he wouldn't be angrya nd wanting revenge these days. Mike,I'm glad Howard has been kind to Paul except I wish he would be that way towards everybody. Maybe when he was younger he should have had a guidance counselor or someone to talk over his prbomes with then maybe he wouldn't have to shock for a living. I'm happy that Paul was the one person he was nice to if not anyone else on his show. Maybe other people who shock will be nice to Paul too such as Marilyn manson and Eminem and George Carlin.

Well, Paul does not do anything to warrant someone to treat him poorly, and being that he was a member of a group that Stern admired greatly, it may have toned down his rhetoric.... I am glad it did...

Samuel, I'm glad Paul doesn't do anything for people to treat him poorly. Yes I do think being in the Beatles had something to do with Stern acting nice to him. I'm glad he was toned down when Paul came on the show. Maybe Paul can tone more people down.

Hi MIke I'm glad you said that in partial defence of Howard Stern. Although HS does do some zany things it's what he gets paid to do and I'm sure is encouraged by his bosses. We need some people to be opposites to the expected `norm' and Howard is certainly different. I think some people shouldn't take him so seriously. Just have a laugh. And if at times he goes way over the top...then switch channels. Cheers Sam.

Hello Sam, I heard Stern when he started and there were a number of times (before he went to NY) where he got himself in a lot of hot water with the powers that be. Maybe it is that way now, but when he was in DC, I don't believe it was so. Of course, had I been one of his listeners and I got on his show on the air, I had a few shock items to play with him that would turn the tables. I don't listen to him and have no respect for shock jocks. Different strokes for different folks. Cheers. Sam C.

Oh by the way..... Our favourite Sam is up by 25 votes!! Let us pour it on! Vote often and legally! Cheers! Sam C.

Hi Sam C. You've hit it on the head....different strokes for different folks. I don't particularly like Howard...but SOMETIMES he makes me smile at his cheek. And I don't mean his butt ala `Fartman'. Hi Maccascriff and Starr Thjanks for the plugs and the bumps. Love and hugs. Sam.

Sam, You hit the nail on the head. And if Paul's presence tones him down, all the better. Of course, if he likes the Beatles, he can't be all bad! Have a great weekend, Sam!! Cheers, Sam C.

HI Samuel, Yes it would be neat if Paul coudl toen down the tabloids. As for Howard being different I don't consider him that different since there are sveral people who shock. I can understand people being different but I don't understand why shock ahs to sell. What is the purpose of that? It may not be Howrd's fault but the people who pay shock jocks to shock.

Sam is up by 26!!!

Hi Sam & Sam C Agree with your comments about Stern -- different strokes for different folks. Like him or not, Stern isn't boring. I think Stern was beyond just nice to Macca -- he basically said on his show that he's the biggest celeberity on the planet and went out of his way to start out one of his shows -- on a day that Macca wasn't on it -- to gush and gush about his concert. Although I admit, I am partial to anyone that is a big Macca fan. Cheers! Mike
