Thanks Samuel. I'm glad Paul told off the tabloids. They make up all kinds of stories for their own benefit. I also read where DaviD gilmour criticized Paul for not giving enough money to charity. That is total rubbsih paul gives to Peat,Friends OF The Earth,Greenpeace,Landmines, he gave money to somebody who neede an oepration,he even put on the COncert For New York City.

Hi Tashi, I didn't hear about Paul telling the tabloids off. What did he say to them? I did hera that he is ten songs into his new album on the radio though.
Hi Giri How are you today? The link SamC was kind enough to post is the story I was referring to. These tabloids are ridiculous and have no respect for the feelings of others. More celebrities need to tell them off. Thanks for the info about Paul's new CD. I am so excited. I can't wait until it's released. ~Tashi

I eant EPta. Hi Tashi I'm doing fine today. You are right tabloids do not care for the feeling of others and it wouuld be nice to see more celebrities tell them off. Don't you just love the way Paul told them off? I also love when he put Howard Stern in his place when he got too nosey.
-
I frogtot to say You're welcoem Tashi. I also look forward to Paul's new cd release.

Hello Giri, glad you are doing fine today. Yes, I do love the way he let them have it Howard Stern deserved to be put in his place as well. What an idiot! His show is nothing but vulgarity disguised as entertainment.

My pleasure. It always amuses me that others would instruct other people how to spend their money. I have no respect for people like David Gilmour who try to boss and intimidate Paul into giving more money to charities. The person who decides how much (or what is enough) money to give to charity is the person who has the money and no one should be critical of that person. Those kind of people are just as bad as those tabloid people, IMHO. Have a great day! Sam C

I would have loved to have heard that (Paul putting Stern in his place), indeed I would! It would have been one of radio's finest moments! Sam C.

Tashi... Hi, i dont think i have talked to you lately. I was just going to say hi, and i also heard about the phone call to the tabloid. I heard some of the things he said too, (not in person of course), but i read them. I agree whole heartidly. What makes people think they have the right to pry into the lives of stars and exploit them for all they are? Its ridiculous. Heather is a great woman, and i don't give a damn about what the tabloids have to say. Its all BS. Peace Kim

Hi gang Re Paul and Charity In 2002 he gave me three signed items, one of which helped raise an American record for all four Beatles autographs of $56,000. That was the auction in aid of Rock For Kids in Chicago - with whom I'm involved - which gave them a complete set of White Album photo cards. The other two items helped raise funds for Betsy McCormacks `House of Hope' and The Gus Foundation at Chicago Memorial Children's Hospital. Cheers. Sam.

That's great Sam, thanks for sharing that with us.

Thanks for sharing that, Sam. And it also goes to prove that when Paul gives to charity, he does not consult the media or others to tell them, and he does not need to either. Cheers! Sam C.

Hi Tashi, I agree with you that Howard Stern deserved to be put in his place. His shows usually is useless. I read that he is getting revenge on people for being mean to him when he was younger so he behaves the way he does. HE also claims to be misunderstood.

Well said Samuel. David Gilmour definitely is the one who has money and doesn't give to charity. HE probably does it for his own benefit. These people are definitely as bad as the tabloids as you say.

Samuel, You should have seen Paul put Howard Stern in his place. It was great. Maybe if someone has it taped you can still see it. you can ask somebody if you can see the video of it if they have it.

Speaking of Paul not making announcements about his charity work he is also nto a showoff. I always admired him for that. he doesn't need to run his mouth and brag like other rock stars do and doesn't need to speak about peace but lives out the peaceful life.
-
HEY MIKE!! I just got the CDs!! Thank you very much! Cheers! Sam C

I have been so busy today... Now it's time to catch up! Hi SamC , I agree with your comments regarding charity and money. David Gilmour should have kept quiet. The Howard Stern interview is sometimes offered on Ebay as a 2 CD set. It usually costs around $20. I think they are some sights on the web from which you can download it as well. Hi Giri, Howard is full of baloney. His childhood is no excuse for the things he does and the way he treats people. He sees that being nasty makes him money so he continues to do it. That is probably why his wife left him. I also admire Paul because he isn't a show-off. He is very down to earth despite his fame. Hi LiBRA, How have you been? This whole thing was so ridiculous. Heather is a great person who has done and continues to do wonderful things. No one deserves to be hounded and harassed by the media in such a manner. I don't really care about the tabloids either but I understand Paul and Heather's concern for Bea. She doesn't need to read such things about her mom. Hi Sam, Thank you for sharing the story about Paul's generosity. That is the kind of thing the public should be aware of instead of all the garbage that is printed. Whew! I think I have caught up now. Love and hugs, ~Tashi
