SAM! Hi yas! Just thought I'd pop in to say "HEY"! Hope all is going well for you (HELL, I'm not gonna go through all the posts to find out! LMAO!! )!! HUGE HUGGERS to yas... Just me... Forever, K (...who still thinks about ya...every now and again... )
Hi ...K...! I still remember you! If I ever release those lyrics, you know, you'll have your royalties... And yeah, you're not Paul and I'm not Paul. Only Paul is Paul, thought we know for sure he sometimes reads the board (Hey Paul! ).
Hey There...Hi There...Well HELLO there Mr. O! As well, I remember you too, but of course!! Hey, how's it going? GOOD? I certainly hope so! You're still on the lyrics? hmmm... Still? I mean, it's been a few years. I've got a feeling your not telling something. HEH!! Yeah, it's going good! But nothing related to music! I've found a good job and now I'm worried in... well... finding... love. But what happens to me is like... well, when you're young you can't "forget" sex, so I can't forget music. So no matter if don't send demos, etc. it's always on my mind, it always comes back. But during the past years I haven't sent a thing to any manager or so... But the Guiness Book of Record thingie, has "awaken" those old feelings again and I've sent some songs to two publishers (only as a songwriter). About the lyrics we made... well... the starting line "Doesn't matter who you are", was the starting line of a song I did then. I made all the music (8 minutes of music LOL) but, as usual in me, only the starting lyrics. So, the lyrics we did could suit in the rest of the melody. Yeah...I'm not Paul and your not Paul. Sooo...upon that...I'll take this opportunity to do a "cyber wave" and a simple "Hi yas Paul...huggers!", to Paul . VERY Glad to see ya again! Thanks for remembering me too! Ya may have made my day... BTW...do you still have that site? If so, could you post that link again...I lost it . Go figure! Jeesh!! No, I don't have that site now... because I quit sending songs to record companies, etc. But now I'm recovering some interest in taking my music to "the outside". I'll probably play solo in a local club from September on. I've never played live! LOL I don't think it will take me anywhere... and I don't even think I will enjoy it. I'll just be so nervous of not being alone in my house playing. But some friend asked me they were asking for people to do little "performances" in that bar, and I decided to do it. But I don't know why... I won't enjoy it, It won't take me anywhere... but I can't die without doing it! I guess I'll only play (just piano and me singing) 2 or 3 songs (10 minutes). And I've even planned the setlist. Got to be one fast piano song and one slow piano song. So first will be "Great Balls Of Fire", and second will be "Imagine" and then one of my songs... Peace, Love and Understanding... Huggers...As Always, K (...with feet up and hat on...)

Hello Sam! SAM LEACH FOREVER! I guess you'll be writing the screenplay for that Beatles movie... mmm... You said John and Paul never told you they wrote songs and they never played them live... I think I've got an explanation for it... I, as a songwriter, I'm very confident about my songs (well, even "too much confident"...). But if I had to do a live show with a band I'll never include my stuff on the show. I/We will play classics because a song of mine would not be known by people and will make the show colder... or more boring, even if the song was a possible hit. (I probably play one song of mine in that bar, but that's a different kind of performance...). But, on the other hand, if I ever was signed by a record company, I will record one of my songs, never a song written by other. Well, if I were able to refuse that particular song... like the Beatles refused How Do You Do It. You could say John and Paul were not confident about their songs... well... if Paul or John would have been the only songwriter I would believe it... but having each other to notice how good the songs were I don't belive they were unconfident... As far as I know before 1963 they had written When I'm Sixty-Four, the first part of Michelle, Do You Want To Know A Secret, There's A Place, I Saw Her Standing There... so they knew they had GOOD stuff but they just didn't play it live because no-one knew the songs!. HUGS!!!!

Hello Sam and everyone! Well, do you somewhat remember when some Spanish producer, in Sam's opinion, tried to "coin me"(I think those were the words). He told me he was involved in the next Bisbal album (top selling artist in Spain) plus some other artists... He told me my songs were good (think "commercial enough" not "good"...) but the arrangements were... "obsolete" (I'll never ever forget that). So I told him... well... "Are the kind of arrangements that Paul McCartney or Elton John use today obsolete?" He told me "yes"... and he wanted me to record a pro demo in Madrid for a very high pay... (with "no obsolete arrangements"... ). I refused. You have read it here. Well.... I'm telling this because today I've found in a Spanish musician bulletin board that that guy has been fired of Warner for being incompetent and Vale Music (Bisbal company) doesn't want to work with him. And it seems he has stolen songs to beginning artists, he's on a lawsuit and they are about to seize his studio. Of course, all these things could be a false rumour... but many people is posting similar things... It's seems time puts everyone on its place... at least sometimes.

Hello Sam (and everyone!), do you recall me? This is Oliver, the guy from Spain who sent his music to the record companies with no result, you know... It's been soooooo long, but I can explain it... When the music thing failed I set my mind in finding a really good job, and now I got it. And since then I haven't sent my music to anyone. I quited this board, I became addicted to it! LOL and I quitted the whole thing of promoting my music... and talking bout music... Well, now I've got a job and I'm not going to start again sending demos to the companies... : What has happened to me is that recently I saw on a book shop the Guiness Book of World Records (2006 Edition). When I read the music pages I thought... "I could break this record!" LOL and now I'm into it. I've filled some forms at www.guinessworldrecords.com, they have e-mailed me back, etc. and now I have to send them the final agreement but I have a little problem... I need "a qualified in the record area (musical) witness. Such witness must be prominent and respected." And he has not to be related to me, that's why I write this to you, maybe you can put me in touch with someone that matches the requirements... It can not be you! LOL Because you were related to me in some way in the past. And what about the records??? The records I will try to break are (if I find a qualified witness): -Note sung for a longest time: The record is 29 seconds and I can reach 41. -Fastest piano/keyboard player: Well, I haven't find information about any official record. Some musician claims to be the fastest pianist in the world playing 19 notes per second. I can play 20-30 notes per second (for instance doing a solo in Johnnie B. Goode, LOL). And glissando (the famous Great Balls Of Fire trick) is not allowed! -Highest number of melodies composed in a day/hour.... This is the strangest record but the most interesting in my opinion. And that's it. Help, I need somebody, not just anybody!.
Hi yas again Mr. O , Hey, I'm no "professional"...but I do attest to being "on air", every year. It's not me singing. It's me laughing! LOL! Go figure! So...upon the fact that people actually "request" this particular song...in most part because of "The Laughing Woman In The Backround"...I'll do it! LOL...awww...hey I know you can't have me (a nobody...in the music world in other words). BUT ::::, then again, why not? I'm not being paid for that persons record being played EVERY YEAR...over and over. LMAO!! But, it gives me and my family and friends a good chuckle (HEH!!...for THEY KNOW "my hardy laugh")! Note: The song is by a comedian I saw (forgot his name even!!) at Hilarities one night in 1986. The song is played here in OHIO at Xmas time. Although no one really knows who he (the comedian) is..or what the real name is of the record is...I called the station...and the DJ gave me his name (sorry...long time back and I forgot it...again!!LOL! STILL!). There is no official name for the song...it seems. So...it's called by the peeps that request it and the DJs...as: "Porky Pigs Blue Christmas". I've got it on a tape that I recorded (2nd time 'round) from the radio, when I first heard it..."I" knew it was me. Plus...I had to play it to my family and friends (give them a good LAUGH)...and explain the "situation". They all have agreed, hands down...that it is me (in the backround laughing)! PLUS one other factor that I won't go on about... that proves to all that know me...it is me. So...what ya think? Does this make me a "credible music person"? LMAO!!!! If so...I'd be the first to back ya up! Truly...I would. (don't think it's possible though...bummo!!...but I would if I could ) Peace, Love and Understanding, K (...who seems to have a truly destinctive voice/laugh...and who is just weird...and who wouldn't have myself anyother way......)

LOL HI K! It's all a funny story... But I'm a total "nobody" in music business, you know... Well, I must say I sold one record Greg bought it at www.cdbaby.com, Thank you Greg, and that's all! Well, I appear in another kind of recording... I possess the recording ( ) of Paul's last concert in Barcelona... Somewhere in between the songs I sang "We love you yeah yeah yeah" ("She loves you"'s music...) but no-one joined the chorus... : I did it some times till I was tired of it, then I just sang "Yeah Yeah Yeah!" between two songs (the notes that defined and started "Beatlemania" in my opinion). Right then Paul (McCartney!) answered "Si si si, si seΓ±orrrr, Yeah yeah yeah!". So Paul answered to me... LOL (si, si, si seΓ±or... means yeah yeah yeah sir... in Spanish). Paul's answer is heard on the recording, but not my yeah yeah yeahs.... It seems I wasn't satisfied... After playing Let It Be everyone knew Hey Jude was next. Paul, as usual, said "if you want to join us at the end of this song..." YOU KNOW... then he played the F chord on piano... before... "HEY JUDE!" LOL It was me, I did it three seconds before him. It's heard on the record, LOL. I'm sorry if I disturbed someone but that was once in a lifetime. That was my fav song ever with Paul on stage... I had to sing those two notes!. You can bash me if you want, I had to do it.

Yeah, I remember the last line too :-). And I've got the lyrics somewhere I don't know but sure I've got them (like all my written melodies...). I think the music I made is "quite very good" : but it's my own opinion bout my music, so it doesn't counts. well, about love... I don't want to make this a drama or a soap but the trouble with me is that I don't find when I'm searching and I don't find when I'm not searching either. How scary it is. And it's not only bout love... to quote the Stones.... "I can't get no girl reaction. and I try, and I try, and I try...". I don't know why!

Hey SAM. I've seen on Barcelona big stores the new DVD Beatles Live In Hamburg or so, with interviews, etc. Dunno if they mention you at the interviews... Maybe you could want to check it.

It seems we are all forgetting this: http://de.worldcupwiki.org/images/6/61/251px-World_cup_trophy.jpg Well, I think football (soccer) is the third greatest show on Earth. Second would be rock and roll (like Freddie Mercury said Rock concerts are similar to football matches, but in concerts we're all with the same team and we always win). First one got to be... ladies on the streets... Welll..... I, like almost everyone, think Brazil will win. But I must say that England has an incredible team... At least great players, dunno if a real great "team" (You know the recipe for success in a team: 1) Individual talent (specially on some of the team members) 2) Diversity of talents (not everyone having the same kind of talent) 3) Team work (knowing how to work together). That's what The Beatles had... but that's another story...). When I think of Ferdinand, Campbell, Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard, Ashley and Joe Cole, Owen, Rooney... well... And what about Spain? Well, we're always supposed to have a great team... Well a great bunch of players, that's for sure. And it's true this time too. But we never ever play right!. And we never reach semis. I have a kind of optimistic theory bout Spain. Real Madrid has played horrible this year. He should have ended the 10th in Spanish League. But we had Casillas and we ended 2nd. So if Casillas made Madrid end 2nd... maybe could make Spain win the World Cup.
-
Yet another post... I think they want me to appear in TV! Yeah, it's about the Guinness Record thing. In Spain they have started to do a TV Guinness Record show, where some people try to break records. I didn't knew they were gonna do this show when I sent the record attempts to London... Ok... the Guiness people has told me they miss a fax they should have received for one of my three record attempts.... (Fastest pianist). When I sent the 3 attempts the fax did strange thingies... and it seems none of them arrived but they have only e-mailed me bout this particular record. (But I have re-sent the three ones today). This record would be the one suitable for this TV show. (The longest sung note is the most boring thing ever... and the most melodies written in an hour or day it's impossible for a TV show...). So MAYBE they have hurried up asking me to send them this particular fax. I would appear in Spanish prime time for an audience of some milions... playing crazy Johnnie B. Goode My idea... is asking them, to make the record more entertaining to do a playback of one of my songs... Well, I guess they would not agree but I should have to try to ask them... I'll keep you informed.
