Hi Clo. We've only had about 5 votes so far so someone is taking the day of. It's always like that on Sundays....very sad. But we'll all make up for it this week...RIGHT ?? Love and hugs. Sam.

Hi Sam I understand Macca was a big Little Richard fan -- and can do a great impression of him. If I recall isn't Long Tall Sally a Little Richard song? Macca does a good cover of that one. Just bought a book that's called the Lost Beatle interviews, which includes one by Little Richard. For some reason Little Richard went out of his way to say that he doesn't care much for Lennon but is a huge Macca fan. Cheers! Mike

Christina Read your thoughts about Charles tour on your thread. I went sans Charles to save money -- seems like a nice guy but he charges and arm and a leg. The Fantasy group thing sounds cool -- it's expensive but you are getting first class hotels, first few row tickets, sound check, etc. Hopefully they do it in the US next time around. Cheers! Mike

Hi Mike Little Richard liked Paul the best and always claimed that he taught Paul his high-pitched rock `whoop'. John was always slightly aloof with stars he met mainly because he was very shy and, believe it or not, a little unsure of himself and his own ability. Yet in my opinion John had the most distinctive voice in Rock'n'Roll music. I've said this three times tonight but....I'll be back tomorrow. This weekend I've been at my Operation Big Beat celebration of Billy Fury who died 20 years ago. You probably won't know him but he was our answer to Elvis. I had invited my old `sparring partner' Allan Williams and we had our tables next to each other. It was a fun day as we told each other tales of yesteryear. He's a good guy !! Cheers. Sam.

Clorinda:
Hi Sam D Wishing you a lovely evening. Has everyone voted today? wink
Great to remenber, Clorinda I was forgeting my duties oops
-
Hi Sam Actually, I always thought that Macca and Ringo's voice were more distinctive. A lot of friends of mine always confuse George's and John's voice thinking they sound alike. Actually, Little Richard seemed a little harsh about John, his quote was, "John had a nasty personality. He was different from Paul and George, they were sweet. George and Paul had humbler personalities." Cheers! Mike

Cesar I voted. If I recalled Sam was # 1.

NO , he was just 5 but a few votes behind the first

Maybe early in the morning he was # 1, that's when I voted or perhaps I am confusing today with yesterday -- for some reason I have Sam at #1 stuck in my head.

Hi Mike- I remember reading somewhere (I think this came from Little Richard's biography) that he liked Paul and George, but that John and Ringo had nasty personalities as you quoted above. Believe it or not one of the reasons he says he did not like John was because John went around making noises like he was passing gas all the time! Not sure why he didn't care for Ringo. (I didn't make that one up - honest!)

I had such a great time in Liverpool that I didn't want to leave. I definately want to go back since I didn't get to see every Beatle site I wanted to this time around. I better start saving my money now and for a possible future Paul tour!

I better start saving my money now and for a possible future Paul tour! Me, too! Although, I did miss being up close to the stage. I saw Macca from the third row in Indy and that was an unbelieveable experience -- he makes lots of eye contact with the first few rows and really engages everyone.
