Im afraid this is from your place auntie..how far is Fort Worth from where you live? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_army_infiltrator

Jhess pritheenurse and Ate Maria,TFC's Wowowee is in the brink of dissolution! Willie Revillame is out of the show. Have you heard of that news? Well I hated Wowowee from the beginning and its just the incarnation of MTB--I knew from the start that that show wont last.. TFC sucks!! It shows....they're an anti-Beatle,anti-sixties and seventies music kind of network--all they care is their muzak tagalog songs..
Eat Bulaga pa rin ang programa ng mga Filipino wala nang iba and its still going strong more than 30 years since it started in the Philippines.Im glad I have GMA Pinoy TV and be able to watch Eat Bulaga when Im in a day off from work. And I am mighty proud of these guys who brings real fun and real pinoy comedy on cable television. Its like the Rolling Stones of Filipino comedy,it gets better as it grows old.

Fort Worth is a city and Fort Hood is an army military base. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Hood I am not so sure if wiki is accurate however, the news writer is writing too much bullshit! I don't worry about it--been here for 29 years
: Gad--time flies, huh! Forth Worth is just 10 miles away where live right now. The military base is like an hour. It's 92 today--bloody hot! It's only spring. Later Keith

if he went to israel why not the philippines as well? there are lots of fans here! it will be a sell-out!
-
Glad to have you on board dude, and we respect every input of every pinoy here.
: I guess the main difference between Israel and the Philippines is that the Beatles never went to Israel. Were you alive when the time the fab four went to Manila on their 1966 World Tour? Or I guess you've seen the Anthology and the Beatles:From Liverpool to San Francisco DVDs and have read the Anthology book.
: I dont know man, after the way they were treated.. Well I wish you all the best of luck and If you do persuade Sir Paul to come back to the Philippines that'll be a big event in music history and our Sir Paulie could not only be the greatest rock singer in the world but it will be heroic feat for him...Good luck!

nunca pupunta si Paul diyan sa inyo
: it's a waste of time!

I agree auntie, its a waste of time and its stupid. I just gave him credit coz he has this some sort of faith that Sir Paul will eventually go back to the Philippines. But If I were Sir Paul,I wont...and it is clear even If we do persuade him to. Sir Paul is not an idiot to come back to a country that threatened his life and safety in the past. I have an online friend from Jakarta called Sandy and she asked me one time, she said why did Sir Paul went back to Japan despite of going to jail for nine days while he doesn't want to go back to the Philippines and didn't even bother to go to Indonesia..I answered her this Theres a big difference in going to jail because of marijuana in Japan and running for your life in the Philippines because some brainwashed Marcos followers wants to kill you for politely declining an invitation to a dinner party. You know stupid people who doesn't take no for an answer. I dont think the way MTB and the rest of these TFC fellows who showed how they hate the Beatles would make Sir Paul have a second thought of going back to the Philippines.. The damage was done and TFC aka ABS CBN made it worst... In simple tagalog: Pag ginawan ka ng masama ng pinoy at taga ibang bansa ka iisipin mo na lahat ng pinoy masamang tao kahit hindi lahat..Thats natural... TFC is more louder than GMA Pinoy TV who loves the Beatles...so the hate factor is more prominent. My pinoy friend who watched "Sharon" show on TFC told me a story of how one gay fellow lambasted the seventies music and fashion on one of the show's segments, though I havent seen that one..see? I no longer watch TFC that much...I watched more GMA Pinoy TV shows whenever I want some pinoy programs.

I hear ya Keith and I thanked you for your replies- it make sense all the time. Hell, Ringo hated the Phlippines and will never forget what happened to him out there. Nakatikim daw siya talaga ng tadyak pati si George, Ito ay nasabi sa akin ng mga utol ko na nasa Maynila nakatira. How mean and cruel!! The boys were innocent and we can only blame Brian who refused to accept the invitation from those animals in the palace. It's an old story but we keep on and on talking about it! Oh, yeah! We are the loyal fans and we all scarred from from that incident. Hugs

You're welcome auntie and thanks for being here in the thread, like I said this is our thread. And these topics though we just keep talking about them gets more thrilling and exciting everyday...and of course,we thank all the viewers who have wrote their inputs here. I know the TFC guys were viewing this as well,my mom told me about this Beatles tribute on Showtime, guess on what network..
But no matter how they convince Filipinos and other races that they love the Beatles(really?)
: I've already seen the worse at Magandang Tanghali Bayan in the early 2000s,during that time TFC is the only foreign channel from the Philippines so we dont have any choice at all but to see these morons at MTB.They insulted the Beatles at Magandang Tanghali Bayan, with the audience whether they were paid or not were laughing like mindless jerks. And I will never forget that..they made the Philippines more hateful in the eyes of the Beatles.Shame on them.

I secong to that! Talaga naman! Nakakahiya dahil pag Philippines sasabihin kaagad ang nangyari noon. Oh, well, life goes on... Kailangan na may competition ang TFC kasi nga naman walang iba. I hope one day. I don't have TFC but a lot of them here pinoys ay mayroon. Ang kaibigan ko naman ang asawa kano. Maybe the hubby doesn't want the kids to speak tagalog. Aba ang mga mayayaman diyan hindi nagsasalita ng tagalog kasi walang class daw---baduy! Di hamak na mentaldad! Lungkot ano? Hay, buhay ni Juan dela Cruz

They already have a competition auntie,GMA Pinoy TV launched here in 2005.It was a relief coz we're all glad to see real Filipino comedy at last. The real pinoy comedians are on GMA Pinoy TV. While on TFC ang comedy nila mang insulto ng ibang tao, insultuhin nila Beatles tapos tawanan yung audience ganun ba.Insultuhin nila yung isang tao tapos tawanan sila ganun ang comedy duon--mababaw.Its not funny. TFC is a liar.....how many people have they deceived...thats why Im writing here again If you're a pinoy Beatles fanatic and you're living whether in the Philippines or other parts of the world, you should not support TFC(thats ABS CBN in the Philippines)

I didn't notice this one auntie,as for me,I dont find it baduy speaking in our native lingo tagalog especially when speaking to a fellow Filipino.I rarely speak on our native lingo here in the thread nowadays coz there are other races viewing us here and I feel more comfortable with English and there are still some tagalog words that I didn't understand that much, mostly those being spoken by my friend DJ who lives in the Philippines..

Anyway,Im reposting this from page 374,this is what the Beatles think about the Philippines...this was taken from the DVD The Beatles:From Liverpool to San Francisco.
One more thing, there are some websites claiming that the Philippines was under martial law when the Beatles toured the country--WRONG...though Marcos was gearing up to be a dictator as we know him today and acting like a big jerk during that time,he didn't declare martial law until 1972.My dad is a witness to that,he was in the Philippines during that timeand besides heres a proof that martial law was declared 6 years after the Beatles went to the Philippines: http://countrystudies.us/philippines/28.htm
I wasn't around during that time but history is clear. So I guess everything is cool now...see ya guys.

Ah...colonial mentality and/or 'mayabang! As long as they don't speak bad words against the Beatles it's okay--however, if they do cuss them --I will not let them! I will fight against those people until the end!
Hugs

Yes auntie...tunay ngang The Filipino Channel
Willie Revillame got booted out of Wowowee gawa ng kayabangan, its in the Filipino newspapers here in the Bay Area. Walang nagtatagal na noontime show ang TFC..Papano gawa ng kayabangan and they really showed that they hate the Beatles and the sixties and seventies music, kaya kahit ano pa sabihin nila sa Showtime that they love the Beatles(huh?)--its no use
: I've seen their worse at Magandang Tanghali Bayan. On the other hand,Eat Bulaga on GMA Pinoy TV rules!

So they removed it already.Anyway, you should've seen John mumbling "We were beaten by these monkeys..."
Anyway, just look for the DVD The Beatles:From Liverpool to San Francisco..it is there, including what George said: "Because we'd heard it was a terrible place anyway, and when we got there,it was proved". Shame on TFC!!! Screw 'em
