Oh, what a sad sack! :
Just talked to my dad and several elders here, they said police brutality and abuse of power in the Philippines can all be traced back to Marcos' martial law and pre-martial law days and the Beatles were witnesses to that. Before Marcos' time they say you feel safe when you see a police officer in the street, after that people were already terrified. It was sad the influence of martial law on Filipino police officers still lingers up to this very day.

On another note--- This is what I have not read or not known that Jews exist in Manila. No wonder there are too many-mixed race. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_the_Philippines

Yeah me too..you can see on my posts on the previous page I was watching Mel And Joey and theres this thing they're debating on about the marriage contract in the Philippines having an expiry date and can be renewed like a driver's license. Now who the f*ck thought of that ridiculous idea? Ano yun driver's license? : Kung yung SSN nga natin dito hindi nag eexpire hanggang sa pagtanda natin, saka may annulment naman duon o lagyan na lang nila ng divorce law kung ganun din lang...wala talagang nauulol na ata talaga karamihan ng mga tao dun...that is simply ridiculous---DJ was right about his e-mail after all.

Maybe pag Civil marriages. Church wedding hell no! They cannot do that! Ang ibig sabihin ay anyone in the Philippines can change their constitution! That's bullshit! I was not born yesterday! My husband and I were married in Greece, Israel, (Embassy) the church denied our marriage because I was comitting adultery--that was the fucking simbahan doon because the ex- is still alive back then. So, okay, we went to Cyprus so that we can say the bullshit-I do! I do! However, in the eyes of God and people (ha ha) we aren't married because as I have known already (nagngingitngit ako) adulterer ako! WHAT THE FUCKING LAW WAS THAT, EH! Anyway, marriage is just a fucking paper. I am still the surviving spouse of my husband no matter what! Of course, I live in Texas! Haha! WTF! When I am in the mood discussing marriage--I\saludo ako at it's sacred ya know but a husband and a wife should not take advantage of each other! Example --the marriage of Linda Eastman and Paul McCartney was one sacred marriage ever! I am drinking coke again. I also have light cranberry passion by Minute Maid but damn coca-cola regular is really bad but shiet--it tsate good. It kills my thirst! Okay later man...I have a job to do--about the wordpress website for that Bella baby! Cute girl! Your aunt is pretty. ops:

My husband and I were married in Greece, Israel, (Embassy) the church denied our marriage because I was comitting adultery--that was the f**king simbahan doon because the ex- is still alive back then. Kung may GMA pinoy TV kayo auntie at napanood nyo yun makikita nyo yung attorney na sang ayon dun sa renewable marriage contract mukhang matakaw sa lalake--bakla : Well anyway,I think they're including the church wedding into that...so its really fucking ridiculous..halos pareho lang naman yung civil and church sa pinas coz they sign the same contract after the church wedding..well I think so,thats what I saw on my friend's wedlock in the Philippines(I've seen their video, though I didn't go there to attend)--so its far far too silly.Tama si DJ auntie ang daming tanga't gago dun ngayon..it shows..those pea brains.. On the other hand,I salute Paul and LInda as well,in the world of sex, drugs and rock n'roll they're union is one thing to follow.A very good example that love can really last forever.

By the way,my mom told me that they saw this Beatles tribute on TFC's Umagang Kay Ganda and did some trivias about the band's historical concert in Manila(I haven't seen that one). I guess they're f**king embarassed coz I keep on pummeling them here, well I guess they want to show the world that they dont really hate the fabs--oh really? Yeah they were embarassed I guess, they did insulted the Beatles on Magandang Tanghali Bayan and I think they were trying to make up with the Filipino Beatles fans..well I had no regrets on pummeling f**king ABS CBN(TFC) here...and I pummeled 'em real good... _________________

Not all Filipinos hated or hate the Beatles. My families over there love them especially John Lennon. I told them love Paul, Ring and the late George. Call the radio stations and request their songs. Or I will call long distance and request to play their remastered set for an hour! Woohooo!!! That's Bacolod City for you. A City Smiles and the cleanest city in the nation.

I know not all Filipinos hate the Beatles--but what I meant by that is the way TFC was misinterpreted by the world particularly here in the US when those fucking TFC comedians insulted the Beatles, and made it look as if all Filipinos hated them coz TFC was the fucking nasty network who made it look like it represents every Filipino may it be Philippine born or not [I guess thats what other people think, but nah,TFC sucks!].TFC is much louder than GMA Pinoy TV and they really made the Philippines more hateful to the eyes of the fabs. TFC doesn't represent me,us who loves the Beatles. The network sucks. Well the guys at Eat Bulaga(GMA Pinoy TV) they love the Beatles and I never heard any of them insult the fab four. And take note they're better comedians than TFC's. Anyway I dont know any radio station in the Philippines except that RJ thing whose website my friend sent me..Well I got a Mabuhay card here for $5 and I can call anybody in the Philippines using this phone card. Bacolod City---solid Beatles groupie? cool...
-
The Filipino thread honors the Maysles Brothers For documenting the fab four on the Beatles first US visit, and for their bravery on capturing the Rolling Stones doomed Altamont concert which became known as Gimme Shelter. We salute you David and Albert Maysles

That's cool! Sunday football--I'm glued!
-
Im fascinated to hear auntie that your town Bacolod City in the Philippines is a certified Beatles groupie Well I couldn't remember much when the time Eat Bulaga used to be on TFC, well I heard the story that they booted out the show coz they want to control it and they couldn't,want to buy its rights--like a fucking dictator. None of the shows in TFC made a gigantic impact like Eat Bulaga has after they booted out the show.Like John Lennon sings Instant Karma finally got them.I hated TFC those shows after they booted Eat Bulaga. F*ck TFC.

The colossal album! Paul's Epic #1 Album From 1973 Will Be Available In Multiple Configurations Featuring Remastered Rare Bonus Audio & Video Content With Special Exclusive Packaging November 1st in the UK November 2nd in the US MPL and the Concord Music Group are pleased to announce the re-release of Paul McCartney & Wings? iconic Band on the Run. Heralded as one of the greatest albums of all time, the GRAMMY winning, smash # 1 album - originally released December of 1973 - yielded the immortal title track and world-wide hit ?Jet? becoming Wings? most successful and celebrated album ever. Paul personally supervised all aspects of the Band on the Run reissue. The remastering work was done at Abbey Road using the same team who recently remastered the complete Beatles? catalog. Band on the Run will be available in a variety of formats originating with the single disc digitally remastered, essential 9-track standard edition. The 3 disc (2CD, 1 DVD) special edition features nine bonus audio tracks (including the top 10 smash ?Helen Wheels?), rare footage of the McCartneys in Lagos and behind-the-scenes at the famous album cover shoot, original Band on the Run promotional video clips, the One Hand Clapping television special (highlighted by studio performances filmed at Abbey Road in 1974) all with beautifully enhanced packaging. Collectors will be especially thrilled by the 4 disc (3CD, 1 DVD) deluxe edition which adds an extraordinary 120-page hard bound book containing many unseen and unpublished photos by Linda McCartney and Clive Arrowsmith, album and single artwork, downloadable hi-res audio versions of the remastered album and bonus audio tracks, a full history of the album complete with a new interview with Paul and expanded track by track information for all four discs. The deluxe edition also includes a special Band on the Run audio documentary (originally produced for the 25th Anniversary edition.) The original remastered album and bonus audio content will also be issued in a 2 disc 180gm audiophile vinyl edition that comes with an MP3 download of all 18 tracks. Lastly, the standard and deluxe versions of Band on the Run will be available digitally worldwide. The musical achievement of Band on the Run is nearly matched by the amazing story behind its creation. Intrigued with recording abroad in the summer of 1973, McCartney searched for a list of studios around the world. Spotting one in the remote location of Lagos, Nigeria, he became enthralled with the idea of recording in Africa. Days before departure, lead guitarist Henry McCullough and drummer Denny Seiwell quit the band leaving the entire project to the three core members, Paul, his wife Linda McCartney and band-member Denny Laine (along with recording engineer Geoff Emerick). Recorded in August and September of 1973 (with further work done at AIR Studios in London in October 1973), they persevered through a tumultuous, yet creatively invigorating 2 month recording process battling difficult studio conditions, oppressive heat and a dangerous mugging at knife point. The thieves made off with the demo tapes (among other valuables), forcing the band to record the entire album from memory. Band on the Run triumphed both critically and commercially. The album topped the US album chart 3 separate times, won a Grammy and went on to sell more than 7 million copies. Upon the release of Band on the Run, then Rolling Stone reviewer Jon Landau famously gushed, ?The finest record yet released by any of the four musicians who were once called The Beatles.? Paul is currently playing five songs from the album on his ?Up and Coming Tour?. Live favorites over the last 8 years of touring have included ?Jet?, ?Band on the Run? and ?Let Me Roll It?. In 2008 when Paul played a free outdoor show to over 500,000 people in Kiev, a Ukrainian poll listed ?Mrs Vandebilt? as their all time favorite Paul McCartney song. It?s been included in the set ever since. At the start of this tour Paul added ?Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five? to the set. Band on the Run marks the first release from the Paul McCartney Archive Collection, an ambitious reissue program that encompasses 40 years of cherished, classic material from the most successful songwriter and recording artist in music history. It?s also the initial physical release of the recently announced agreement between McCartney?s MPL and Concord Music Group to globally market and distribute Paul?s venerated solo and Wings catalogue. http://www.paulmccartney.com/news.php
