I found for you in fo about International Woman day in Wikipedia and i'll give you the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Women's_Day (if the link won't work- the article is calles International Women's day - It gives a lot of info about historical aspects Besides i add some things. - Since 1966 8th march became an official holiday and free day. And little by little this holiday lost it;s political meaning. In 2002 there was a survey and 66% think -8th march- is a feminine holiday 18%- associated it with the beginning of the spring 9%- associated with solidarity to woman 8%- additional holiday 4%- gave other variants This a holiday when men give a presents to their women-particulary flowers (tulips, lily of the valley, mimosa or roses - these are the most popular flowers), cosmetics and etc. Besides we make a special dishes- salads ( one of the is called Mimosa=)) If the weather fine ( i mean sometimes there are no snow by the 8th of march and the temperature is about +15-18 C- though for a last 10 years it's rare - at least in Khabarovsk) people are coming down the streets, spend their time together. In fact 8th march may be seemed as a combination of St. Valentine's day and a Mothers day=))))) P.S. We have 3 symbols for olympic games and 2 for paraolympic=) (i'll tell you a little bit later) P.S Next "report" will be about the Pancake week P.P.S - Still all the russians fans are waiting for the news from Ringo.

Hellloooooo, i'm glad to see you! So, you're lucky man, 'cause you're livin' in Ukraine and Ringo will give a concert in Kiev. Though i still hope he'll give one concert In Russia, but as i see now - there's a little possibility
-
Hello, Alice! I am glad to see you here too! Now I just wait for the information on tickets which will appear after 8th March's holidays. I think Ringo all the same will give a concert in Russia 'cos he has a lot of free time from June, 4 till June, 10th. But if you gonna visit his concert in Russia maybe it's better for you to arrive in Kiev? You're living so far and I don't see a difference where to go - to Kiev or to Moscow, for example.

I think as for it'll be better to come to Moscow-'cause it's closer and- because it took less time than to Kiev- besides in June i'll pass my summer session -so actually i won't have an opportunity to spend much time even in Moscow, though i really madly wanna see and hear Ringo!

Alice, I think you should fly by the plane, after all Khabarovsk is so far from Moscow! I hope at you it will turn out to see Ringo

It;s been told that Paul might give a concert in Moscow this December. I don't know is it true or not? But i wish it was real
