Is strine a dialect derived from sea-pie? The lingo o' paul's round os city? If so dun it'll be a welcome addition ter this forum. so long as yous dun start discussions ed de conduct o' der pewl city council er de crent disagreements betweun de chaptis o' de two cathderals - did ye nah dee 'uv one ter spare? And dun worever yous do start witti'n about de der pewl and da' terffees derby strike! Martin

Oh goodness me, i've just realised that strine is not related to the beaut lingo of paul's home town. It's apparently a lingo based on that of a small northern hemisphere bush that had some influence world-wide some years ago. It's clearly mutated since then probably under the influence of an indecent amount of sunshine 'n' the effects of weak lager. There's probably no risk that this thread will become unacceptable due to strong political or religeous discussions - but you better keep the sports yabber down! Martin

I agree. Sports discussions are pointless and rarely solve anything. Besides, the Yankees rule.
