21st Century Paul:
So... the idea is... you, Ringo, Clapton and Julian Lennon touring playing the Beatle songs (you could even add an orchestra conducted by George Martin if you will...). I don't think the band should call themselves "The Beatles"... but "The Beatles Memorial/Remembrance" or so... : Quite strange... like I said before, I just give ideas, others will judge them.
Hi yas again! Two thumbs UP to that idea!! <---two smilin' faces too (as in also ). Agreed about George Martin. Agree about not calling themselves "The Beatles". ??? How about "The Beatles Remember"?/TBR. ?? Peace, Love and Understanding... Huggers, K (...who has judged and idea...heh...coolio! ...)

Hi yas Paul, Just thought I'd say "HI", Love Yas...and Glad you're here to type this off to ! Hope all's GRAND for you today, and everyday! Peace, Love and Understanding, K (...thinkin'...beep...beep...'n....beep...beep...YEAH!! ...)

~ I had a strange dream about Paul the other night too!!!~

I have lots of dream with Paul... Usually he carries his acoustic guitar and we start singing and writing songs... I wonder if the songs in my dreams are songs that I'm composing while dreaming (but I never recall), songs that Paul sents to me telepathicly while dreaming or really a telephatic dreaming songwriting duo.
-
Paul- I heard you do an interview for XM radio in October and you said something about doing a "Sirs" tour with Elton, Mick and you, is that really going to happen? I need to know ASAP because I have to get in line for that.

Hi yas O! All of the above...is most certainly possible. If a tune is rather haunting your mind for some reason, I'd venture to say that was from your dream/dreams. Just jot down that "tune". Isn't the mind a wonderful thing? Peace Love and Understanding, K (...who has had premonitional dreams...not regarding Paul though...)

Hey, about premonition, I know someone that I trust that has had them. Before knowing it I was skeptical almost about everything but science... but now I believe at least in telekhinesis, clarovodaince-premonition and telepathy. I can't jot down the tune ("jot down" , you always make me go to the dictionary :wink because I never remind them. Only once, and that was many years ago, a sung line (Paul singing) that said "If we're gonna stay brothers, let's start tonight", and that's all.

Hey Paul...I hope life is treating you well. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I just wanted to say how totally cool I thought it was of you to go on the cover of AARP and not be photo shopped!!!! Wow, that was a very nice picture of you and it is refreshing to see a superstar be proud of who he is and not have the picture touched up. You are handsome just the way you are and I was so proud of you for doing what you did. The article was good as well. I have 2 friends who gave me copies of the magazine because they know how much respect I have for you. God bless you, Paul!

Hello, I've just watched "Walk The Line". All the movie is moving but I recall two special moments: -It would have been very funny to tour in small gigs all together with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, but sure no woman would have stood that , though some could dream about. -Well, I saw the moment when Johnnie Cash "changed". When he read the letters of the fans where they said how Cash music was so important for them. So here I go again. mmm... I think that Paul would never know what he means to us. He's confident about his talent I think, he knows he's maybe the greatest songwriter ever, you know... but in his heart he's humble too (if not he couldn't be so great) and he probably thinks "...but maybe I'm not so important". You are. Si si si seΓ±or. And most in this time where it seems that crappy music is king. You are like the icon of the good music, and alive and kicking. Since two weeks at my local newspaper shop they don't have the Rolling Stone Spanish Edition magazine... dunno why. Instead they have the American one. Ok, I have a look at the American Chart of Albums, yeah the top 40. 1 Busta Rhymes - The Big Bang 2 Dixie Chicks - Taking The Long Way 3 AFI -Decemberunderground 4 High School Musical - Soundtrack 5 Three Days Grace - One-X 6 Cars - Soundtrack 7 Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium 8 Rascal Flatts - Me and My Gang 9 Young Joc - New Joc City 10 Ice Cube - Laugh Now, Cry Later : Oh, my I don't say these artist don't deserve their audience... but, well, is that the best music?. Well, it's not all over yet, we have Andrea Bocelli at 12, Billy Joel! at 14, James Blunt at 25, Johnny Cash! at 27, Bruuuuce at 31, Pearl Jam at 35 and Paul.... Simon at 40. And there's a place where you see the #1 30 years ago... LP: Wings at the Speed Of Sound. Single: Silly Love Songs. And the cover of the 1976 magazine was Paul Simon, dealing with some troubled waters... Now there's Johnny Deep as a "gonzo pirate" . I'm not gonna buy this magazine, at least for a while. We.... love... you.... we.... love.... you.... more than ever. Not only you , but you are the... greatest living proof of that good music exists... I can't say it better... my excuses.... Now, don't let it go to your head

21st Century Paul:
Hello, I've just watched "Walk The Line". All the movie is moving but I recall two special moments:
I agree. with your post. Paul is the greatest one!!!!! PAUL WILL BE NUMBER ONE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!! In general, people don't care about music and well that's happenin' nowadays(remember the grammy awards???)...It's so sad, yeah just let's listen to the radio tv and well let's look at the charts things like that... It's a pitymany times. You know what I mean. : By the way I saw Walk line and I think it's a good movie Cheers to all
-
"Walk the Line" was an incredible movie! I met Johnny Cash briefly on the set of "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" years ago and he was the nicest man!! I have to admit, I was a bit star struck by him. I wonder if Paul has seen the movie?

...here I go again... DEAR O! What a GREAT post! EXCELLENT as a matter of factor !! But...I must say this about a couple of things. LOL..."Silly Love Songs" is one of my favs of Pauls. And I LOVE Johnny Depp as well. Ok that being said...I'll get back to PAUL. I love yas...yeah...yeah...yeah. And with a love like this fan...ya know it can't be bad! YEAH...YEAH...YEAH (ok...so I fudged the lyrics...heheee ) Peace, Love and Understanding. K (...tossing out a BIG "THANK YOU" to you O...for your advice...;)...)

Dear Sir (respectively) Paul, First off...I'm ever so sorry that I must type this way to you (public), but I've no other course to take. So again, sorry. I must tell you right off here...that I had to come back to your site, asap, as soon as I heard of your "situation". I suppose I just am a natural mothering sort (meaning that I want to know if your ok). I see your fairing well, and you are not letting this all stop you from creating! Thank you...#1...and thank you...for we the fans #2. Ok...now I'm going to ask a VERY SINCERE favor of you. (I do so hope you can read the "passion" through my type here.) I'm asking that you get in touch with MEL GIBSON, and PLEASE set up a "meet" with him. You may be wondering why I ask such a thing, of "you" out of everyone. I'll explain: As you've read/ heard by now...Mel is going through a bad thing/time. "Bad" press is going to HIT at anytime (probably as I type now, and before this even!!). I don't want to see Mel go through this anymore than I wanted to see you go through it. But, that's the way it goes when your a BIG TIME "Hollywood/Musician/Artist/...etc.". "They" (the "rag masters 'most' definately"...and "SOME" reputable papers/TV/radio) are doing what they "think" the people want. Constantly reporting bad things. I'll stop here, on that subject...for I know you understand all that garbage. If you would kindly call him...and he says "All is fine/all is ok"/or similar to that...that's the time to "visit" for sure, trust me!! Mel...not unlike you...needs humor...and LOTS of it, to get through life, as it is. He likes people around him. His brand of humor is somwhat not unlike yours. I "feel" you to be the best person to be there for him...as a sincere friend. Please make him laugh, please bring your guitar to sing a song of his choice. IF he's in a humorus mood...he may ask you to make one up, just because he's ornery . AS WELL, Mel is a rather good singer (I don't know if you knew this), it's in his genes! Maybe a "sing-a-long" thing....would be GRAND...for Mel. I'm sure you both would LAUGH...and truly enjoy! I'm more than sure it would not be a waisted visit for you Paul. For you are a man that understands. PERIOD (won't go on...for I need not...I don't believe)! I would have written the same sort of mail to Mel, for you...only I don't believe he was reading his board for a long while (sadly...I think he "may possibly" tune in to see what his fans say now). Reason for me writing to you regarding this is really very simple: YOU are on my #1 singer/writter list! Mel is on my #1 actor/director list! And trust me...my lists are REALLY long . I think the world of you both, and want the best for you both as well! I'm hoping you don't think I'm a crazed sort of fan...for I am not. I just know who is GREAT and who isn't! I love every thing you, Paul, and Mel have done, and continue to do. It's that simple! I pray you do read this, Paul, and do what your heart and soul tells you to do! As well have the time to do such a thing. NOTE: Monerator/s if you'd be kind enough to notify him of this... (if that is the way it goes) I'd forever be thankful!! *Sorry this was such a very long read...but there was no way around it...for me.* Thanking you in advance, Peace, Love and Understanding! K (...who believes anything can be possible...) P.S. Below is a copyrighted poem of mine. I'm now addressing it to you, Paul, and to Mel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Friend of Mine You're in my thoughts At the oddest times. Yes, I've always felt You're a friend of mine. If you're not, I'll still be true, For you're in my prayers when I think of you. I sometimes dally and hesitate to reply, But that's ok...I'll always be a friend here for you. 'Cause being a friend means one never has to try. Be well my friend, be always true. If not for me, please do it for you. _________________ "Love is the sweet wine of life."

I really don't understand why Paul should reach out to Mel Gibson. He's the one who got himself in trouble.
