That was a stitch up when U2 won that award ahead of Paul a couple of years ago.......the judges bottled it.
-

Paul, again another ^5 from Digital dose.com Giving the Fireman an A- for EA-- beating out The Killers, Akon, Ludacris new releases!
-
Paul - what do you have in store for us next?!
-
Remix, Guitar Concerto, James's CD and an Anthology apparently.....then his new pop/rock/dance album......who knows who he's gonna get to produce it, hopefully Godrich or Youth who seem to bring out the best in him, and try a different sound this time perhaps. The thing with Macca is who knows what he's gonna do next he's so left field we could go on guessing what he's up to 24/7 and still not get it right.....
-
I couldn't get over all the hoo haa over Electric Arguments - the eeijit that's saying you allegedly stole his song! Tell Willie Jones to get a life!

YES! I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time!
-
Paul, Thank you. I've been a Beatles fan since I was really little, and I've been a fan of your's since shortly after that (my parents recall me singing your songs in department stores very loudly...). Thank you for the music that helped me so much when life wasn't so great, and thank you for just being you. I admire your seemingly endless optimism and sense of fun! I hope life is treating you well and REALLY hope you come to Minnesota again, I missed your last concert and was really bummed about it! Oh and swing by for tea with my husband and I (he's a huge fan too!), we don't live far from the Excel where you performed before!

Yes, I've seen it- very cute!

Always looking for new stuff and haven't used You Tube as much as I should have or as much as Moggy (who seems to have shares in the whole enterprise.....or if he hasn't he damn well should have for the amount of times he's on there..... ).....and found a Pathe Newsreel of The Beatles slumming it down the M62 motorway in that backwater Slumchester, sorry Manchester (I still haven't forgot those anti-Liverpool jokes you threaded Moggy..... ) back in 1963. A lot of the stuff is well known but it's in colour and I'd only seen it in B&W. Good Lord, I really do need to catch up don't I?
-
Whadah mean ! Manchesters nice....bolton actually is in black and white. Talking of youtube ....bolton and macca....a youtube
I am going on the youtube xmas do -
Moggy Excellent..... .....thank you Mr U. Tube. That staged fighting.....how camp was that?....typical fisticuffs from that period, bit like the 2 fight scenes from the Bridget Jones films. The movie was great though....haven't seen it since the 70's. Macca's music for FW was sublime and largely forgotten by most people except us lot. What a towering talent he is, unfortunately unless there is a huge shift of opinion here he's not going to be truly recognised until he's gone. If he'd been American perhaps......

Moggy If he'd been American perhaps......
NO! Then I wouldn't love him as much! I ADORE his Englishness!!!
-
Lubiana But he may have had a bit more respect if he'd been American. America would know how to respect a major, major innovative star like Macca whereas we here in the UK build them up only to then knock 'em down, hard! It's called the tall poppy syndrome.
