AS IF... How are you doing...I see that you are coming to the USA on tour. If you have plans later on to come to the midwest(close to where I live) do drop in and visit...'cause I have a feeling I won't be able to buy a ticket to see you, sorry to say...but that's life right? A few webbies wanted to know where the street sign is I use for my avatar, I'll show you...you can have your pix taken under it, won't that be something? BIG, AS IF... Give Bea a kiss for me.

Dear Paul, Well, that was some presale event. Looks like the scalpers had all the luck.again. I managed coz I am a seasoned buyer and know that patience (and a trusty American Express card) usually pays off in the end, but a lot of the other fans were left out in the purple rain. Senor Silva rides again with the super expensive ticket prices. You are certainly worth it but this one was especially painful. I think it'd be a great idea if you'd allow your faithful fans to attend the soundcheck, too. I'll be hanging around with the hope that my good angel can get me in somehow. I think it'd be neat if the other boardies were there too. Whaddya say? Mull this over, dear Sir, those of us who love you with more than our credit cards would be ever so grateful! Karen xoxo

Man Macca, this pre sale was really bad, no way to get thru the fone or the net... and I was on at 10 am The Best, was for American Express card holders not us fans.. why can't the fans get 1st choice~~ ops: not once or twice but always...

Dear Paul I really hope you will add Cleveland to your tour this year! I keep praying that it will happen. It's been seven years since I saw you here in Cleveland. I am seeing Ringo this summer and I hope that I can see you too. But in the meantime be safe while traveling and I hope you will have a lot of fun with your new tour this year! You make so many people happy and I admire you for that. God Bless you Paul! Becky

Dear Paul, This is way overdue, just like my library books, due to the fact I'm not too too internet savvy.... but you were great at fedex field last summer. You probably wouldn't remember it... but I held up a sign, which had a drawing of you and John... I figured it'd mean something special, not just "Ohhh I love you" it'd mean something to you. I know you had to have seen it, and I hope you liked it. Love, Taylor.

Dear Paul, Hiya... it's snowing here, and I hate it. Do you hate snow? I mean... I don't hate it but it get's annoying when it snows all the time. I'm ready for spring. Anyway, no school today. Wooo!!! I hope your day has been good. Friday's are always great, right? Well anyway, I was just stopping by to say hi, and I hope you're doing well. Love, Taylor.

Paul, I had a thought... play in New Orleans before I leave the Southeastern USA (prior to April 10th) please! My best friend said she would go with me. I can't imagine what going to see you, my favorite musician, with my closest friend would be like. It would be pure overwhelming joy! Do take care of yourself as you prepare for the upcoming tour. Hope to see you soon. Love you much!

I'm happy you created this thread too. Who knows maybe Paul does read our messages on here. I"m sure he'd like to read what his fans have to say. But with him busy planning his tour he might not have as much time like he did before. But anyways Paul if you do happen to read this I really really really hope still that Cleveland Ohio will be added to your world tour this year pretty please?????

Paul watch out for me in Dublin!

Dear Paul, The idea of writing you came up when I read the news about an eventual show you probably will be doing in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo on next April. I?ve been checking the ?Headlines? of your homepage to find out when you will be coming. I strongly hope you will. I have even been trying to guess which song will open your concert. What about ?Dance Tonight?? I was about 13 years old when The Beatles got into my life. Then I became one of the millions of girls who dreamed of Paul McCartney and created fantasies with him. They helped us deal with our frustrated expectations of empathy, boyfriends, adventures, true love and so on. Forty years later, circumstances and expectations have changed. I?ve been facing the challenges of being wife, mother, professional, of aging as far as possible fit, healthy, charming and happy, of keeping faith, hope and good mood in good and bad times. The news about your probable coming to Brazil has awoken that dreaming adolescent. She?s been whispering in my ears your songs, lyrics, poems, and writings. I?ve rediscovered, among others in my collection, your classical work ?Ecce Cor Meum?. So touching! It raises the spirit and brings peace. I?ve gathered here and there some pieces, stanzas and verses of yours that afford answers, insights and inspiration to my everyday life. I?m sending this patchwork as a tribute to you. I hope you will like it. Best regards Marcia Brasilia, Brazil Patchwork In a terrible blizzard the van skids off the motorway and down a slope. What is going to happen now? Will the rescue come? Something will happen. We may never know how the rivers flow, but it goes to show Something is there. Looking through the backyard of our lives, there was a time when we were young and our heart was an open book, and we used to say live and let live. But in this ever-changing world in which we live in, (we know the wheels keep turning) We have been out on our own, Trying to prove we can make it alone. Oh carry me back to the days I knew then! Something is there. Yes, we spend a lot of time on our own, making our way in the shade, hiding away our feelings, waiting till the danger past, How long the storm is going to last? But like the sun that rises every day, We can chase the dark clouds from the sky, Instead of run and hide, stay and face the fear inside. Something is there. It was fun hanging onto the moon, shooting out of the stars, keeping out of the sun, barking up the tree, howling at the moon, but we come so close to the edge of defeat that we want to come home, to the place where the truth lies waiting and we remember who we are. Something is there. We can sit, take a sip, smoke a pipe, discuss all the vast intricacies of life, we can jaw through the night in a philosophical discussion, Talk about a range of subjects, anything we like, But we always come back to the songs we were singing at any particular time. Something is there. We spend our days catching up on life, Sliding down slippery slopes, climbing up slowly burning ropes, Laughing, when our eyes are burning, smiling, when our heart is filled with pain, Sighing, as we brush away our sorrow, Counting the bars of our iron cage. But big and black the clouds may be, time will pass away. Something is there. There is a fine line between recklessness and courage. There is a long way between chaos and creation. It's about time we understood which road to take. When it will be right, we don?t know. What it will be like, we don?t know. But we live in hope of deliverance from the darkness that surrounds us. Something is there. Poets light our way with their sweet song, Bring a special glow to our hearts. Let the light from their lighthouse shine on us, this guiding light will burn so bright, there will be so much wonder around us, so much good will surround us, we will be as happy and contented as birds upon a tree, high above the mountains and sea. Something is there. Poets teach us how to find new words for love, they fill the world with silly love songs and show us their heart. With certain softness they point us the way to find ourselves. Although life sometimes is hard, we can pull through, playing the game, fighting the fight. sweeping the fallen leaves away. Something is there. Paul?s songs: ?Ecce Cor Meum? (Paul?s Introduction, I-Spiritus, II-Gratia, III-Musica and IV-Ecce Cor Meum); ?Chaos and creation on the backyard?; ?Live and let die?; ?Too much rain?; ?Tell me what you see?; ?Jenny Wren?; ?Once upon a long ago?; ?Mull of Kintyre?; ?On the other side?; ?(I want to) Come home?; ?The song we were singing?; ?Fine line?; ?Promise to your girl?; ?Hope of deliverance?; ?Light from your lighthouse?; ?A room with a view?; ?Silly love songs?; ?Certain softness?; ?We all stand together?; ?At the mercy?.
