For tomorrow we're expecting the Madrid announcement....if there's more shows on this leg, maybe he'll announce those too, but there's really been no new rumours since last week.
-
I'm praying for something in South America... please Paul don't forget us!!!!
-
Also disappointed that Vegas is doubtful. Hoped to catch the new LOVE & Paul show in one swoop!
-
A lot of doubtful shows for July. Any positive rumors?

Nice! Congrats Madrid!

I suppose there is no hope for Barcelona, right?
-
I think there will bo more European dates consdering this statement: 'One On One' will arrive in Madrid on 2nd June with Paul?s first appearance there since 2004. The Madrid show follows the announcement of the first 'One On One' European tour dates kicking off in Germany in May.

I hope for Barcelona too!

Maybe some dates in other countries? 3 shows in one country, probably 2 in other. BTW three shows in very small distance (Belgium, Netherlands, Dusseldorf) IT will be something like AC/DC European tour - 9 shows in Germany, when they give only 40 in whole Europe

Yes, I was baffled by Dusseldorf. For us fans it's obviously a great choice, but never would I have thought that Pinkpop and Werchter, who got enough tickets to sell, would be 'counteracted' like this.
-
So someone know something about other dates in Europe?
-
I have not heard a thing. But I suspect there could be one or two more Euro dates. Or not.

Czech Live Nation - "Rádi bychom, aby se k nám vrátil, ale nic konkrétního zatím....", in English it's something like "We want him to get back here, but we don't have any specifics".
-
Maybe they know everything, but cannot tell it at the moment, at this point
-
So I'm on the South Dakota general sale and I'm getting an option for "general admission standing area" for $250 but there's also VIP seated tickets in the front rows. Is it possible they're splitting the floor into seated and standing?? Some of us boardies have discussed this - could be pretty cool I think. I have yet to pull up one of those tickets - keeps saying "no tickets match your request".

Can you believe Bob saw 120 Macca concerts but the only time I met him was at a Brian Wilson show? lol
And I met him at AROTR in Louisville, KY a couple years ago!
Met him at what?
Abbey Road On The River Beatles Convention--very famous here. About a hundred tribute bands plus famous acts like The Beach Boys and Jefferson Starship are headliners. This year it's The Zombies and Felix Cavaliere's Rascals.
As far as Beatle festivals, this is top notch. In the area of 70 bands on 7 stages on Fri, Sat and Sun and events on Thurs and Mon with a lighter schedule. But they not only cover Beatles music, but the solo careers, Rutles and other 60's and 70's music. Unfortunately they moved host hotel further away from the grounds so not as convenient any more but still great music fest
Yeah and I'm staying at a less expensive place! The Marriott charges a ton for Wi-Fi and parking per day!! It's ridiculous! The place I'm at has free Wi-Fi, $5/day parking (used to be free 5 years ago!) and even has a mini-fridge. And it's only a block from the Marriott and then a couple blocks more to the festival site. The Galt was so convenient though, but charged for Wi-Fi and parking too, plus no fridge.
Not true Nancy, the suites were awesome at the Galt...we had fridge, they were quite big and roomy
I stayed at the Galt twice on the festival side--yes, roomy, but NO mini-fridge.

I see Event Travel have removed any mention of the UK from the page, just says Europe now. If the UK is to get a gig, it has to be no later than June for purely selfish reasons!!! (and NOT a standing floor!)
