And before I get folks trying to read between the lines...the Atlantis comment has nothing to do with any hints or Las Vegas as that does not look good Playfully, I meant the mythical Atlantis!!!!!
Atlantis joke aside, Vegas isn't looking good for a concert this summer now right Bob?
Sadly
Darn, looks like at least this first leg of the One on One tour I'll have to sit out then. Thanks for clarifying Bob, much appreciated as always.

Was hopeful and counting on it myself....but no worries! More opportunities on the way

Can you believe Bob saw 120 Macca concerts but the only time I met him was at a Brian Wilson show? lol
And I met him at AROTR in Louisville, KY a couple years ago!
Met him at what?
Abbey Road On The River Beatles Festival--very famous here. About a hundred tribute bands plus famous acts like The Beach Boys and Jefferson Starship are headliners. This year it's The Zombies and Felix Cavaliere's Rascals.

I'd made some decision - if Paul dont announce anything in Poland or Czech Republic this week - I will buy GA in Berlin I hope that my intuition and polish version of ticket master dont fool me
I think that is a good idea. Then you will have a ticket and know you will be seeing Paul! And if a show in Poland does get announced, then you can try and sell the Berlin ticket if you can't go to two concerts.
I also think that is a great idea!! It also doesn't mean that he may come back for a 2nd round September and beyond
You are very helpful, thank you very, very much! Someone know what would be announced tomorrow (except Madrid)?
-
Disappointed about the Prudential gig not working out, I think that was NY/NJ's only chance at an arena show

Abbey Road On The River Beatles Convention--very famous here. About a hundred tribute bands plus famous acts like The Beach Boys and Jefferson Starship are headliners. This year it's The Zombies and Felix Cavaliere's Rascals.
As far as Beatle festivals, this is top notch. In the area of 70 bands on 7 stages on Fri, Sat and Sun and events on Thurs and Mon with a lighter schedule. But they not only cover Beatles music, but the solo careers, Rutles and other 60's and 70's music. Unfortunately they moved host hotel further away from the grounds so not as convenient any more but still great music fest

Yes, will keep fingers crossed something comes up I can go to! Won't travel too far to see the tour though, unless it has cheap flights, etc, as I'm planning a trip to Liverpool for early September.

Yeah and I'm staying at a less expensive place! The Marriott charges a ton for Wi-Fi and parking per day!! It's ridiculous! The place I'm at has free Wi-Fi, $5/day parking (used to be free 5 years ago!) and even has a mini-fridge. And it's only a block from the Marriott and then a couple blocks more to the festival site. The Galt was so convenient though, but charged for Wi-Fi and parking too, plus no fridge.

Bermuda Triangle Atlantis Australia Albuquerque 2016 Tour Juuuuust kidding.... Vegas, Milwaukee, possibly NYC, maybe Boston? Hartford? Quebec has that shiny new arena... Honestly who knows with Paul.
Atlantis would be cool!
I think it is more likely Paul will perform in Atlantis before Albuquerque!
Lol!!!!! I root for you though as it would give me a good reason to visit a good friend that lives there. Unfortunately things don't look good
Now that I have more insight into what goes into getting a McCartney show, Albuquerque really isn't a good fit for Paul. Or rather, Paul isn't a good fit for Albuquerque! You, Bob, ARE a good fit for Albuquerque! If you ever make it out to see your friend, let me know! We can have a beer!
-
I haven't posted in a while, but I continually follow this forum. I was hoping for some more Canadian dates especially Edmonton as we have a fantastic new arena being built and it will be completed at the end of August. Paul came to Edmonton in 2012 as part of the On The Run Tour and hoping for a return. The people in charge of booking entertainment for the arena mentioned that they would like to open it with some big name artists and they mentioned Paul's name last year as a possibility. I'm really hoping this happens, but if it did, it wouldn't be until September. Bob, any chance of a 2nd leg of the tour in September or October??

At this time anything is possible but looks like he'll be here in July and August. So might be too little, too late. I would tend to think he'll steer clear of the U.S. In the fall as election time will be in full swing but you ever know 100%. Honestly I don't think they have a clear picture beyond August and seem still to be working hard to bring that together

Wait! Don't give up yet! Still more shows to be announced! We might get lucky. (I find it so hard to believe Paul hasn't played there, yet; it's so perfect: it's an arena, it's easy to get to (practically next door to the bus/train station), NY area audience, etc.)

I'd love to attend someday. Probably when Paul retires from touring.
-
So Bob,Do you think the July/Aug. shows will be mostly outdoor arena concerts? I prefer air conditioning! & in the Midwest!
-
That's an answer I do not have..indoor/outdoor no clue. Far as where, no comment
-
I gotta ask--what does election year have to do with it? I'm sure I can handle both. Fortunately, I'm in Portland, and my spring plans are taken care of, thank you, Paul.

wait did i read something wrong or are we expectingsome news tomorrow? still preying for uk although even if it does get announced i may not be able to go now
