I'm all set for this beam up thing...I think?! Let's see...MPEG-2 digital C-band signal accessed via satellite AMC-6, at 72 degrees west longitude, transponder 17C, 4040 MHz, vertical polarization. Well, I'm not sure what all that means, but I have my speak n spell taken apart, and my tin-foil antenna set up. This is sooooo cool!!! Sure hope this works?!!!! I'm not hearin' anything yet! : Podgie (Phone Home) Monkey
Man, I couldn't get anything?! MPEG-2...hmmm...I was probably listening to MPEG-1...drat this old technology!!! I have Cable television...there must be two hundred channels, and not one of them The NASA channel!!! There seems to be enough shopping channels, religious channels, Spanish channels...so much for educational stuff. Hmmm. I missed the boat again. Were they able to wake up the Space Station crew? Would be ashame if they are sound sleepers, and slept though it all. Podgie (I wonder if they can beam me to a show?) Monkey

And now I can say, that our Dutch tv station RTL-4 did broadcast Paul's performance for the astronauts, And you can also see Paul speaking to them on stage!!, so yeah... they have made footage of this, I think for Pauls new DVD ??? I hope so. Paul was wearing a blue t-shirt and he was sounding and looking so great !!! Here is a different footage with Paul on it. Click

Back when I was with my friends going to shows, we had a discussion...believe it or not, on Paul stirring his tea. Does he stir Clockwise or Counterclockwise. We thought at some shows it appeared he stirred one way, then it seem at other shows he stirred the opposite direction. Well, in the videos it is definitely CounterClockwise! He stirred Counterclockwise when he performed on Ellen today also. Podgie (I like to solve important issues?) Monkey

Maybe he stirs it counterclockwise because he's left-handed??? I go clock-wise with my coffee and I'm right-handed????

I'm right-handed and I stir clockwise also! Although that may change if I'm south of the equator? Podgie (There's a fancy name for it...the Don Corleone effect or something like that?) Monkey

It use to be water polo, but you see, we lost too many horses. Podgie (You have to imagine me saying that with my Commander McBragg voice...remember him from Tennesee Tuxedo?...rather) Monkey

It is almost Christmas Time (mine favorite time of the year)

You know, I was thinking... If Paul said he was pretending to be Ray Charles when he did The Long and Winding Road... And if Paul was he pretending to be Little Richard when he did Long Tall Sally... And Paul sounded like Rudy Vallee when he did Honey Pie... Who was Paul pretending to be when he did English Tea? I know he mentioned Charles Dickens...but I was thinking... ...if he did the voice just so... ...and you know he could for fun... ...English Tea could very well be... Noel Coward " 'Peradventure', eh? Are you deriding my elocution? But, I say, I do thoroughly enjoy your perambulations about The Colonies. Not many peregrinate the way you do."

That's it! That's what I was thinkin' Don Coriolis!!! It's like water flows down the bathtub drain clockwise north of the equator and counterclockwise south of the equator. I think they run their vinyl records on their turntables counterclockwise south of the equator also...but I'm not sure on that. Podgie (I'm bettin' when Paul plays in Australia and New Zealand...he stirs his tea in the opposite direction because of the effect!...of course, that's just my theory) Monkey

LOL! Oh, My Soul! "I taught him everythin' he knows!" I was thinkin' of Paul covering Noel Cowards "Room with a View" also. Podgie (Mad Dogs and Beatles) Monkey
