( I'm bettin' when Paul plays in Australia and New Zealand...he stirs his tea in the opposite direction because of the effect!...of course, that's just my theory
Podgie, remember when you said you saw Paul stirring in different directions at different shows? Now, correct me if I'm wrong but I thought all his shows since he wrote English Tea were on the northern hemisphere. So the guy who stirred clockwise must have been no other than... William Campbell! You know, that's the guy who held the cigarette in his right hand on the Abbey Road cover. (If you're from America and under 25, you should realise that when Abbey Road was first released, Paul (or the person who plays him) was walking with a cigarette in his hand. I heard it's been removed lately after protests of anti-smoking freaks. I wonder what Paul's holding now? A Barbie?)

The beginning of Anyway reminds me of Ray Charles as well.

Great avatar from the talented Podgie! You do these in the middle of the night?

I've been thinkin' about this perception of Paul stirring in both directions at shows. I think it may be an illusion, our perceptions do not always give us the correct information about the physical stimulus. Take this example: The window appears to move back and forth...in reality it is spinning. I think the same may be true of Paul's stirring finger...it may appear to be going clockwise, when in fact it is traveling counterclockwise. This occurs because the brain is interpreting the finger as being closer, and the rest of his hand as being farther away, even when they are not! I think he may in fact be stirring counterclockwise at all shows....North of the equator. Podgie (this may require more research...I think Paul needs to extend his tour, so that we may solve this mystery) Monkey

I get that effect from other people when I am on the road, couldn't have anything to do with my driving now could it?

That window thing is cool, if you stare at it long enough it does look like it's spinning!

LOL! Oh, My Soul! "I taught him everythin' he knows!" I was thinkin' of Paul covering Noel Cowards "Room with a View" also. Podgie (Mad Dogs and Beatles) Monkey

What's next for Paul? When I'm 64...didn't Ringo say Paul will have to vacation off the planet somewhere? Well, Paul has friends at NASA now. Yes, friends in high places. Hmmm...I can just imagine... A Maccastronaut Houston...we have a promo...
