What is funny with this thread is how many things in it, ended up having something happen in real life. I remember the Paul as Batman, and within a week they arrested someone at Buckingham Palace dressed like Batman. Also, the Paul Star Trek...to make it seem far in the future I had Paul holding a newspaper that read "Red Sox Win World Series" (figuring with their streak it would be very far off in the future)...whodathunk, they go and win that year! I think there are other things also. Those two stand out for me. Podgie (Maybe we're psychic...we definitely have the Vulcan mindmeld) Monkey
Maybe we're Comically Conscious Mmmmmmmmm.....Peradventure.... (Ed McMahon off-camera: "The answer is Peradventure...") CarMac the Magnificant (tearing open envelope) "What's more fun than the Apple Adventure?"

Still thinkin' of helpin' to promote Paul's new album. Okay, looks like the Cow idea didn't work out. Just too hard to find one with the right pattern. Doesn't sound like anyone had much luck either. I did find something else that was neat the other day. A new idea! Well, early last century there was this guy Arthur Mole (1889-1983) who together with John Thomas used their 11 x 14-inch view camera to create so-called "living photographs". They are pretty neat, here are some examples from the Library of Congress... http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/p?pp/app,grabill,lomax,pan,wtc,ils,vv,gottscho,detr,bbcards,prok,nclc,fsa:@FILREJ(@FIELD(CALL+@od1(LOT%205357))+@FIELD(COLLID+coll))::SortBy=DOCID (Sorry - Looks like you have to copy and paste the whole link above into your browser if you want to view them) No reason why the same thing couldn't be done today. I am sure the population is larger now than in those times. May be hard to find a big enough field though. Just get a couple thousand fans together from this forum, hoist me up tied to a balloon with my digital camera...and viola!...another Podgie Masterpiece! Like this... Another Podgie Masterpiece - Click Here Be sure to click so that it is full size. And everyone was saying the new album cover is too simple, too plain! It is brilliant, man! Paul is a genius! Podgie (...just try doing this with the cover of "Chaos and Creation"!) Monkey

I really like the picture, Podgie. Suppose we're some of the people?

Just playing around with something called the Druse Effect. Pretty neat. It is like an infinite spiraling effect. Hey, what can I say! Podgie (always playing around) Monkey

Good job! The first picture already has that infinite picture loop potential, so it's cool that you took advantage of that.

Cool picture Podgie Did you get to ride on the big ferris wheel when you were in England? I wanted to when we were there but didn't have time.

I've been on it. It is the worlds biggest ferris wheel at the moment. It only goes around one revolution for your admission, very slow. Maybe when they rename it for Paul they will revamp it...maybe put it on its side and speed it up...wouldn't that be neat, turn it into a "Roundup"?! I use to like that ride at the carnivals. I don't think it is the first time the name changed, I thought when it was first built it was called the "Millenium Wheel"? Now it is the "London Eye". It looks neat in the London skyline, and has a terrific view of Parlament and the Clock Tower, and you can see Buckingham Palace in the distance. It is a fun thing to go on. Podgie (it is also very expensive) Monkey
