A&E TO PREMIERE ONE-HOUR SPECIAL - ?PAUL MCCARTNEY LIVE AT THE OLYMPIA? ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 23 @ 10 PM ET Television Debut Of Songs From The Three-Time Grammy Nominated Album Memory Almost Full - Filmed Live in Paris NEW YORK, December 13, 2007 ? Upon the worldwide release of his now Three-time Grammy nominated new album Memory Almost Full, Paul McCartney performed four special standing room only shows this year taking place at intimate venues in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris. A&E will feature the Paris concert in a one-hour special premiering on Sunday, December 23 at 10 PM ET. McCartney?s show in Paris this past October took place at The Olympia the oldest and most famous music hall in Paris. Having played host to an array of great names since it was founded in 1888; The Olympia has hosted everyone from Luciano Pavarotti, Judy Garland, the Rolling Stones, Celine Dion and Morrissey and also Edith Piaf, who performed there many times during her career and supported the venue when it faced bankruptcy in 1961. In fact, it was the recent film ?La Vie en Rose? about Piaf?s life which inspired Paul to play the Olympia this time. Paul himself is no stranger to the Olympia, having performed there with The Beatles in 1964. ?Paul McCartney Live At The Olympia? is the fourth special for A&E. In the historic hour, fans will hear McCartney and his band run through Beatles & Wings classics and more importantly will hear several songs from Memory Almost Full for the first time on national television including ?Dance Tonight,? ?Only Mama Knows,? and ?That Was Me.? McCartney commented recently on the Grammy success for his latest work: ?I'm very pleased with these Grammy nominations for my latest album Memory Almost Full. I had a lot of fun making it with David Kahne and my band and I am very pleased with how successful it has been, particularly because of the way we got it out to people in a new and interesting way. I'm chuffed that people are enjoying the album and am really pleased that it's been recognized by all the voters.? Widely hailed by critics as one of the best albums in Paul McCartney?s solo career, Memory Almost Full debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart making it the highest charting album over the last ten years for McCartney. The album has also been recently re-released as a deluxe CD/DVD set featuring three bonus tracks, plus five live performances and two music videos. On November 13th MPL/Rhino Entertainment released the definitive visual collection of Paul McCartney?s amazing career: THE McCARTNEY YEARS, a 3 Volume DVD collection, which features solo music videos, career-spanning live performances, personal commentary by Paul McCartney and exclusive footage that tracks his incredible musical journey as never before. ?Paul McCartney Live At The Olympia,? is produced by MPL Communications Ltd and Canal Plus in association with A&E Network. Originally recorded in Paris on October 22, 2007, Paul McCartney served as Executive Producer, Don Kent as Director and Stephanie Saunier as Producer. Robert Sharenow is Executive Producer for A&E.

I'm snowed in! Looks like we'll have about 8 inches of snow when the storm is over in a few hours. I should be on " How Deep Is Your Snow?" What better time to finish my story?! Let's see where did we leave off?...Hmmm.... Oh, yeah! They were on the Island of Recalled Toys! I don't think they will come back for these toys, they are unsafe! Man, what whimpy kids today, why I remember playing with stuff like the molten plastic "Creepy Crawlers" when I was a kid! I'm sure my toys must have been full of lead, and it hasn't effected me! Well...? Better leave it at that... Anyway, Rudy runs off and leaves Paulie and Yukon Lennon behind. Afraid his nose will get them eaten my the Bumble Snow Monkey. I think he is gone for about a year, 'cause his antler grow, and he does too. He gets captured by the Bumble (trying to save his Parents and his Doh...I mean, doe). Just at that moment Paulie and Yukon find them, and Paulie saves the day! Yup, he pulls out all the Snow Monkey's teeth! They go back to the North Pole to Santa's place. Yukon brings back the Bumble who has reformed! Lookie what he can do! But there is a terrific storm...the storm of the century! It looks like Santa can't deliver his presents! Then Santa gets an idea! "Rudy the Red-Nose Reggae...You will lead my sleigh tonight!" Yup, Ringo always wanted to be Santa Claus! (Insert song here..."I Wanna Be Santa Claus" from Ringo's Christmas Album!) Oh yeah, then they danced around with glee...(or maybe that was Nancy or Rosanna...I'm not sure)... Santa gets all suited up. He also gained a bunch of weight, I think because he was so happy. Merry Christmas to All... and to all a Good Night! Rudy the Red-Nose Reggae...you'll go down in history! Podgie (peradventure) Monkey PS I think the moral was that you can be useful even if you are a misfit. Although, as a kid I remember the message was more..."Buy Norelco Shavers".

Fabulous, Podgie, just fabulous

You are so amazing, Podgie. Enjoy the snow. We're to get some tomorrow. Just hoping that it isn't another winter like last year when we didn't even get mail for several days due to the snow.

We got a foot of snow! Very Christmasy here now...actually, a little too Christmasy...enough with the snow already!!! They are excepting another storm tonight. So much for global warming. My Duchamp snowblower worked like a champ...or I should say...Duchamp! Podgie (pour me another EggNog) Monkey

Here in the midwest, we too are in the middle of a storm. Maybe it's reverse global warming & the entire country will be having a blizzard. (better than the fires out in California)

Snowed in yet again, Podgie?

Great holiday classic, Podgie! I could use some snow. Hasn't been a snow day yet. (Heck, only 4 days of classes anyway. What does it matter?)

I think we got about another 8 inches. Worst thing is that I was just about finished with the driveway, when I slipped and fell cleaning off my car and landed on my leg. I heard something "pop", I don't think it is broken, but I have been hobbling around all day, and in agony with it. It seems to be hurting more as time goes on. I am trying to take it easy now. It did turn to rain outside, and it is suppose to freeze tonight. Should make it wonderful tomorrow morning. I'm not singing "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!"....I'm singing "Make It Stop! Make It Stop! Make It Stop!" Podgie (living in a Winter Wonderland) Monkey : ops:
