I don't think I will have time to finish the "Christmas Story" parody. I am wondering how many people even know the movie? I think it is great! I am off to Dublin and London...a Wonderful Christmastime for me! I guess you will never find out if Paulie gets his Hofner. I was getting to the Major Award part of the story, a leg lamp! Man, you can imagine the parody there! Okay, yeah probably best not...I know, better not go there! I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday! Podgie (A Wonderful Christmastime!) Monkey

I thought Paul would get a kick out of this, if he ever reads the forum. I hope everyone has a Wonderful Christmastime and the Happiest of New Years! Podgie (AKA "The Sign Guy from Boston!") Monkey

Very cute card Podgie but I thought you were the monkey man. Changing professions? What kind of signs did you have at the shows?

AKA....A Krazy Ape I didn't bring any signs...I just had the signs for Boston. The shows were incredible, two of the greatest ones I've ever been to. The atmosphere and the season, and all my friends there also. I have to give it to Dublin for being the best for me. My friend's daughter, danced in front of Paul in the Soundcheck...it was GA so there was a huge open area in front of the stage. Paul called her the Most Enthusiastic Screamer and Dancer! ...and even said the award for screaming goes to her. She was great, and Paul and everyone at the soundcheck enjoyed it. At the show we were all in the front row at the railing! It really felt like Paul was playing the whole show for us. At the end of the show, Paul only signed two items on stage, one was the Wonderful Christmastime 45rpm picture sleeve I threw up on the stage. I gave it to my friend's daughter. It was the concert of her lifetime!!! She is going to frame it with with the ticket stub, and photos I took of her dancing with Paul behind her at the soundcheck. The ultimate Dublin concert souvenir...plus what a story behind it!!! London was great, but it was alot more hectic, friends and family, etc. I did enjoy the Mulled Wine outside the O2. Both shows were awesome! Dublin was alot more intimate for me and my friends. I can't believe how fast the time went. Got to see alot in Dublin...Trinity College, Dublin Castle, The Kilmainham Jail, etc. Got to see the Guiness Factory on fire also. We just happened to be a few blocks away, and heavy black smoke came up, so we walked down to see what it was. The Hop Storage area was on fire. I expected all of Dublin to show up to form a fire brigade, and yelling "Save the Guiness!" but it wasn't like that at all. I was all set to join in, if they formed a line to pass barrels....but I guess the barrels were safe. I said it probably saved them a step in the process, as they could skip roasting the hops. I did tour the factory, or the virtual factory, and had my pint up in the Gravity Lounge. I did have to laugh at the tour though, the last step they show is the Taste Test. Over 700,000 pints of Guiness Ale in each lot, I said "Do you honestly think they ever rejected a lot?" Of course not, I am sure that they just make a face and send the not so good stuff to the States. It was a very fun time. Podgie (Back in the US...Back in the US...Back in the US...not SR) Monkey

awww how lovely. What a nice thing to do. Not many people would give away Paul's autograph. Still jammy to get it though... I'm always still to scared to throw things up to him on stage coz I'll either hit him or it will go nowhere near him
