Tori in Texas:
I Want to Bite Your Hand
Man, this is awesome!!! I spent all afternoon down in my music vault...searchin' for something! When I was a kid, one of my favorite record albums was "Dracula's Greatest Hits" (Gene Moss). It had a bunch of Weird Al type of songs sung by Drac! It was awesome! It is very hard to find, and I haven't ever seen it on CD. A few years ago I was at a record show, and searching through a bin I found a copy, man, it was such a surprise! I had to buy it!!! The first thing I did was convert it to CD! It may have been the first album I ever did that with. Anyway, since it is rare...hard to find, and still not on CD...I am going to post a song from the disk! Just for this month, because it is Halloween...for your enjoyment... You can download "I Want to Bite Your Hand" sung by Drac, by clicking here.... I Want To Bite Your Hand Man, imagine Paul covering this cover...in "Maccula"?!!!! It would be wicked cool! Podgie (shoo!) Monkey

Excellent! You matched the Font perfectly (I have trouble with that alot). I like the wordplay. I was listening to a Beatles on the BBC recording the other day, they were talking about "Help!"...and the announcer said to Ringo, so you are like a "Double-O Seven"...and Ringo said "No, I'm a Double Entendre". You ain't gonna be believin' this...but I have that album, too! One of my favorites was "Frankenstein" - to the tune of Clementine I don't remember all of it but... "On a mountain, in a village in a castle big and wide Dwelt a doctor off his rocker and his name was Frankenstein..." (Doing a Boris Karloff voice "Well I put this thing together with some wire, screws, and bolts, Then I charged the giant body with a hundred-thousand volts." "Oh my doctor, oh my doctor, oh my doctor Frankenstein You have gone and built a monster You'll be sorry, Frankenstein." "But the monster was a killer and he murdered eight or nine So the villagers got angry. Dreadful sorry Frankenstein. They attacked the doctor's castle and they burned it to the ground. And they got rid of the doctor, but the monster is still around." "Oh my doctor, oh my doctor, oh my doctor Frankenstein, You have gone and built a monster Now you're sorry, Frankestein." It came with a sheet of monster trading cards. I still have most of them.

Man, Tori...I didn't think anyone had that album. I like "Drac The Knife" (to "Mac The Knife"). The album I got didn't have the cards with it, the album cover is unbelievable...the guy who does the artwork for Mad magazine did the front and back. It is a classic in my book, every song is great. Watch out...Old Mac Is Back... Actually, I keep walking around talking in the Drac voice now that I am listening to that album. I like the "shoo" for the bats flying round. I imagine the real drac would be saying... . "I vant to play your bass, shoo" Podgie (Tori, you sure you ain't related to me?!) Monkey

ROTFLMHO!!! . One for Podgie, too... (Jungle drum sounds...) "Oh it's the King Kong Stomp! (There's no escape!) Yes it's the King Kong Stomp! (He just goes ape!) And the jungle shakes with a mighty sound When King Kong starts to monkey around! Dunt-dunt-dunt-dunt" I remember the gurgly bubble machine sound on the surf monster song. I forgot about these. I didn't realize it was the guy who did Mad magazine but I see that now. Could be Klaus Voorman, too.

"The King Kong Stomp"...a REAL classic!!!...there's no escape! I love the album, it is in Podgie's all time favorites. I have been to lots of record shows, and could never find it. I think I paid like $15 for it...and I thought that was a bargain, I couldn't wait to get home and put it on. I now have it on CD, so I can listen to it anytime. "Ghoul Days, Ghoul Days...", "Franky and Johnny", man it is great!!! The artwork is terrific also, I love Mad Magazine. My brother use to have the record, and he took it when he went to college...I hadn't seen or heard it since (till I found a copy). I also remember another record that had similar type songs, one I liked also was "The Pistol Stomp" instead of "Bristol Stomp". I couldn't find that one anywhere, although I found a different record with the song (not as well done). Man, it ain't Halloween without this record!!! Tori, you never cease to amaze me. Podgie (the classic) Monkey
