Well I'm going to go the night before and hope they are letting people queue. I have justified getting the day off by saying that the signing will be for work!
Well as I messaged you on Twitter I'm going to suss the queue out in a while. (It's Ellie btw) Do me a favour and drop me a text - my phone reset itself and I lost your number! The mere thought of camping in this weather is filling me with dread....but it'll be worth it!

I really hope everybody gets his autograph. If u have one already, please let someone to have it this time.
you know what? I don't really want his autograph. I would love to shake his hand and look into those eyes again. ops: Good luck to everyone going.
And we'll miss you being there, but it really is too risky coming all that way.
-
I am going down there if anyone is heading down can they send me a tweet and let me know how it is as i am at work at moment my twitter usenrame is @apollovs cheers
-
Can people keep us posted about the queue situation? I'm in such a dilemma about whether to go, going overnight isn't really an option as I have a 2 year old but so want to. The more real fans there are the less profit to these awful dealers.
-
I'm traveling straight from work today and should arrive at HMV around 7pm. I will post a message on here about the queue. I don't have your number Ellie, but I will message you on twitter! Boggle, I will send you a tweet as well! I'm @ilovebeatles

That's me, Boggle! I am not surprised that someone is queuing up, but I'm glad it's just one person!
-
Aparently there are about 20 people queueing now!

I know, I just saw on Facebook! If there is more than 100 people by 5 then I don't know if I should bother

I am absolutely OVER THE MOON! I won a ticket from HMV to meet Paul McCartney tomorrow!!! Ellie won one from Paul

Looked at ebay, makes my blood boil these people trying to justify what they are trying to flog - however they mention getting 5 items signed. Do you think this is true? If so and Paul signs 5 items per person that would be crazy and take forever, thus reducing the number of people let in. What do you all think? Hey brilliant news some of you won wristbands, I didn't so its queuing or nothing for me.
-
I'm so angry. Hmv did a competition to give away ten wristbands and it turns out at least 2-3, maybe more, are putting stuff on ebay already and some of them were also recently made up spam accounts made specifically to increase chances of winning. This is so unfair.
-
The whole thing has been so unfair this time. I've applied for everything and got nothing, not even a reply from the Graham Norton thing saying no thanks. I thought this was the sort of thing that the premium membership was supposed to sort out. Oh for the days of the Fun Club when we at least got a chance of being picked to go to something and were only up against other real fans, rather than opening it up to the world. Oh well Paul is just succeeding in getting audiences full of non-fans who look bored stiff (if yesterday's Radio 6 thing is anything to go by) and the rest selling stuff on ebay. He's just making it harder and harder for all of us real fans (
-
I am here and I was 20th in queue but due to inconsiderate so called fans allowing their friends to join the queue I am now about number 26. I am so mad they say they are fans. It they are just selfish

this is jus unbearable and so unfair

Checked some of the hmv winners and a few are twitter accounts that you can see have only just been made, so were obviously created to increase chances of winning. All their tweets were just the same answers over and over and over. When will real fans actually get a real chance of enjoying Paul? Because this competition and lottery thing is a joke.
-
I know of some "real fans" who got into the radio gigs yesterday, so you can't judge by what you see. And these signing things are always dodgy, even a simple "first come, first serve" queue system doesn't stop people from slipping in and jumping ahead to get signatures. And HMV is making it very clear this time around that only the 60 winners are guaranteed, which is something they bungled badly in 1997. : So best of luck to those of you who are queuing! Agree that the people trying to sell on eBay are scum. And no, I highly doubt that Paul is going to sign more than 1 cd per person.
-
I get your point Frankie, really do, but I had to join twitter to enter the competitions. I really didn't want to join it but this was the only way to enter. I didn't win, but my account simply has things related to the competitions so these winners might be the same? Just fans desperate to win (although I was obviously too British and only applied 1x to each comp). Why when we've been members of these boards for years and fun club before that do we have to join something new to have a chance to win?? Sigh. And still wondering where the rest of the guaranteed places went? To anyone that goes, goodluck!
